Is it straightforward to apply yourself? Also how much would i need (range rover evoque) ? Thanks

It's very easy but make sure you do this first.Make sure you've at very least done 2 coats of G2 over the entire car and make sure there are no tar spots on the bodywork.A bottle of C1 should do your Evoque at least twice.The car needs to be somewhere dry where it won't get wet for at least 24 hours after you apply the C1.Use the applicator pads supplied, dab a small amount on the pad and rub it in circular motions over roughly 2 square feet at a time (approximately 1/6th of your bonnet) then buff it off with a clean good quality microfibre cloth.If possible, have someone follow behind you, buffing over where you have just been.Do this over the entire car but DO NOT do the glass or any plastic trim (unless it's painted) and do not use it on metal that is chromed (use Autosol metal polish for that).Once you've done the entire car you can apply another coat of your up to it.You can apply a second coat at a later stage but if the car gets dirty, wash it, dry it and at very least use Gtechniq quick detailer to buff it before you put the second coat on.Basically this product applies a very thin layer that turns almost to glass and the more you apply, the better the level of protection you will achieve.Apply enough coats and it will even help prevent stone chips.If you have not already done so, I highly recommend the following Gtechniq productsW7 iron and fallout remover (you'll use a lot of this so buy big and as myself and my friends have found out, putting it in a large pump sprayer and diluting it roughly 60/40 with water will make application easier and make it last a lot longer).C2 liquid crystal for a normal polishQuick detailer for after a coat of C2 or a top upG wash for general washing P1 for removal of fine scratches or damaged areasAvoid the glass cleaner as its a pain to buff off, you'd be better off using quick detailer on the glass.Also, invest in about 10 - 15 good quality microfibre cloths and a couple of wax application sponges (one hard side and one soft side)Hope this helps!Pete.

Can i put it on gloss painted alloy wheels?

If you are looking to coat your wheels, C5 Wheel Armour would be the best product to use as it has been designed for this application.

Can this be applied over Exo V4

No, usually the other way round C1 then exo

How long does the coating last

I did not rate this product, I used a ceramic polish, with a better result, plus i went much up further.

Great curing ceramic coating for matt paint finishes

This is GT's older technology and I used it on matt paint finishes as recommended by G Techniq. It goes on just the same as Crystal Serum Light and is just as forgiving. For gloss finish paints, I always use G Techniq Crystal SerumLight. I will end up using up the remainder by coating alloy wheels

Not the easiest stuff to apply but the results are great

It took me all day (8hrs) to cover my medium sized car and my arms were aching when I finished! It needs to be applied in little circles with the tiniest little applicator but my car has looked great for about 10months. Some panels could do with a reapply now though.

Easy to apply on fresh paint

I have used C1 on recommendation, and its use in my case so far is on the underside of a freshly restored car. It went onto the paintwork easily and a water test next day showed excellent beading.

Very good so far

After reading and comparing black plastic restorers I plumped for this product for ease of use and effective. After cleaning thoroughly and following advice I applied this to restore my black plastic trim which was looking grey and tired. The restoration is instant as you swipe the product on the pad provided and it’s really easy to apply. I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler which has loads of black trim (big wheel arches, door runners and large bumpers) and the 30ml bottle almost covered it. The finish looked great so I ordered a 15ml extra to cover last few pieces (door handles and light units) and have spare. It guarantees 2 years of keeping black and as just applied I’ll wait and see. Would give it 5 if I knew hence the 4 so far. Not cheap but very easy to use and effective for job with no black mess to deal with.
