SUBANG 107 Pieces Zipper Replacement Zipper Repair Kit with Zipper Install Pliers Tool, Silver and Black

The zipper pulls do not fit normal YKK zippers which all of mine are I feel the positive reviews are fake. If you look at the side of the pull (Which this seller does not show in any pictures) you will see that normal pulls have the opening that slides over the teeth in the "MIDDLE" The pulls in this kit have the opening all the way on one side so its impossible to use as it wont fit over the teeth. The seller seems to know this is a problem because the ad states that you make sure you have the right type...but no type is given and no photo of the side is provided.

This kit would have been perfect if the ZIPPERS WERE METAL....THEY ARE PLASTIC, PAINTED TO LOOK LIKE METAL..in the description it says these zippers can be used to replace jacket/coat zippers.. THIS IS A LIE..I purchased this kit to replace the zipper that came off a boy's size seven Parker...the zipper is plastic and just fell apart..ended up using a metal zipper off another coat....

Good kit, but I'll be honest, I didn't think this through completely. If you know what you're doing and you know how to replace a zipper, go for it, otherwise, leave it to the professionals.I ended up taking my jacket with an even more messed up zipper to the professionals anyways and spent more money.Regardless, the kit offers a lot of great tools and a vast array of different zipper types and large amounts of each.

The picture showed exactly what was in the order, but it couldn't show the extremely poor quality of the zippers. I kept the pliers, but threw the rest of the items in the trash.

I could attached it with tools but the zippers breaks easily and it still not working properly. It had already broken 2.

... it's a good thing that the set conatins so many pieces. I used this to repair the zipper for my camping tent and a camera bag. The camping tent took a lot of fiddling and trial and error to get get it done, thus the need for "extra" pieces. It took a couple of tries to get the hang of it and as a result broke a few in the process. By the time I got to the camera bag, it was easy to do. Got the job done, and for the price, you can't go wrong. The tools were helpful as well for the tedious parts, but I found that some larger pliers were useful to move things along once I got the process figured out.

Excellent kit!I fixed 4 jackets in about an hour.I'm moderately handy, but it took awhile to "get the hang of it"It really helped to study a good zipper and pull to understand exactly how a zipper works.This kit will NOT fix bad zipper tracks = if the actual zipper teeth are chewed up, broken, or melted, changing the pull will NOT help.The kit includes a generous selection of slides that should fit most situations.The included tools are generic, but totally adequate.I suggest rubbing a little paraffin or candle wax on the zipper, after putting on a new slide.-charley, lower left corner of Ohio

I expected these to be easier to install. I am fixing broken zippers constantly on clothing, I am a tailor. I bought these for my first luggage zipper slider repair. I didnt mind experimenting with this product because the luggage is my own and I wasnt sure of the size slider I needed. I had a lot of trouble before I opened the seam. Occasionally, a pull can be maneuvered onto the zipper without damaging the teeth. I broke 2 trying to do this technique. Once I opened the seam, I could then access the end of the zipper, found the direction the zipper went, and had a smooth repair from there. I'm sure I'll be using more of the 103 pieces I have left!
