It works well and gives you options. I use the short arm and sticky suction cup on the dash of my car. This is my second one as the first one finally dried and cracked on the dash in the Florida sun. I had lasted 4-5 yrs before failure. No shade on the product, just Fla sunshine taking it's toll.

I purchased the car cell phone mount for the dash and windshield mounting assemblies. Given that this mounting hardware uses the typical ball socket it is nearly has universal combability with other mounting accessories. I did not use the grip holder parts but instead added a MagSafe magnetic holder and charger instead. See the pictures above. It allows me to use the phone holder on an old desk next to my bed. The suction holds great even when stuck to wood. I tried the vent mount in the car, and it did not hold my phone stable in a Honda CRV 2018's vents. I am not sure if any vent holder would in that car though. I have moved the windshield suction mount around to different places around the house without a problem with it sticking firmly in each spot. It did start slipping on the wood desk though. I followed their instructions to clean it with warm water and let it dry. I also used some rubbing alcohol to clean the desk while it dried. It is no longer slipping and falling off the desk now. I was using another mount to hold my phone on the desk, but this one with its bending and shaping abilities makes this mount have infinite propositioning compared to the other normal mounts. See the pictures to compare. I love the minimalist styling of this mount, and its ability to position the phone just perfectly. I am surprised that other companies are not cloning this car holder. I am sure they will be in the future. I cannot recommend this mount enough and such I gave this a very easy 5 stars! If I have any problems with it not holding up I will update my review. But given the holder's solid well-made feel I do not see needing an update.

I drive a 2013 Honda CRV and recently used the car phone mount attached to the windshield on a 12.5 hour journey using interstates and secondary roadways which included both smooth and slightly rough pavements. I installed the phone holder on the bottom left corner of the windshield in the same location where I place my Garmin GPS; and with the extension, the phone is suspended just left of my steering wheel but not obscuring vision. I found that on smooth roads, the phone (Galaxy S5 in an Otterbox defender case and weighing 7 ounces) was reasonably steady meaning that there was slight movement of the phone and my GPS application, Waze, worked well and was easy to read. However on slightly rough roads, there was considerable movement making the GPS map hard to read. My suggestion to the manufacturer is to attach a support which can be easily positioned to brace the extension on the dash and dampen vibration coming through the windshield and dashboard to add stability and readability on rougher roads. That's the reason for the 4 stars- my suggestion is an easy remedy as other manufacturers have already adopted extension supports. The phone holder is very secure and it holds my phone easily. I did try the vent holder, but it's not robust enough to support a heavy phone, and I prefer to view a GPS closer to eye level for safety reasons. And, the dash mount is not practical as my dash has too many sloped areas. In lieu of a dash mount, my suggestion is to offer a short windshield mount- this is preferred for me and has proven well for the past 7 years to be the most stable position for a GPS device or phone holder. My recent trip was in April 2018 with air temperatures in the 60's F; I'm unsure how the plastic and suction cups will hold up in summer heat when a parked car can allow temperatures to rise to 120 F or more. I live in the southeast and summer temperatures in the upper 90's F are not uncommon. When I'm traveling and stopping for food or fuel, I leave the mount connected to the windshield. When my trip is over, I take down the car mount and store it in my home. I do like the phone mount but not every mounting option in the kit is ideal for my car which makes the Vansky 3-in-1 very useful for others as cars are different and preferences vary.

I use this holder with a windshield mount, and suction cup is great on this device. My previous holder would come off after a few days and I would have to reattach it. This one is holding strong for 3 weeks so far and hasn't come off once. Now must admit, when I first installed this thing, I thought it was junk. My phone kept drooping down no matter how I positioned it, and I almost returned it. I finally figured out that nut securing the holder on the mount must be tightened all the way for the phone to stay upright. Now that I have everything attached and tightened as it was intended, device works awesome. There is almost no vibration when the car is in motion. The only thing that does not hold up as well as I hoped is the foam inside the clips that keep the phone in place. This might be another user error, but... I don't release the holders every time I take my phone out, because it is just so much easier to yank it out and go. But when I put my phone back in the holder, foam catches on the sides of the phone's case. So, in the 3 weeks I've used this mount, foam has slightly separated from plastic it is attached to. But I have a feeling if I released side holders all the way and adjusted them to my phone's width every time, foam would hold up much better. Bottom line, this is a great windshield mount, and I recommend it 100%.

I loved the price. My first hiccup was with my order. I initially ordered these and the package never arrived. I went outside immediately after it said it was delivered and did not see anything there. It took some time to get a new package but I looked past that. Suction Initially, I tried to the suction to the inside of my windscreen. It was fine, however, I own a Honda HRV, so I am not sure if it is my windscreen size but I did not seem to find a perfect place for the suction type on the windscreen. Each position seem to obscure or distract my view. The phone always appeared in the corner of my eyes and eventually my eyes started to hurt Adhesive The adhesive was perfect and super strong. I regret not setting it in the right place at first because upon removing the adhesive it lost all its adhesion and that was the end of that type. I initially had it on top the AC vent at the driver's side but I wanted to switch to more in the middle of the car and well, that was that. AC Vent Clip I then thought, maybe the safest application would be the vent clip. So I stuck it in there without any effort, however, I hit a few bumps and the whole set up fell out of the vent. I had to find some way to have the silicone part squeeze between the smallest parts of the vent so that it would not move. The vent itself was not sturdy on its on to hold the phone upright, so it would hand downwards and then the phone holder would slip out. After some time of working it and trying different fits, I managed to somehow get it to stay. Now I do not get much AC out of that vent but it does keep my phone cool while charging. I think the best attachment is the adhesive.

The item was delivered promptly, and assembly is quite easy. It comes with a separate phone mount at the back of which is a socket into which you can fit the ball of one of three mounts: a suction cup mount that you can then affix to your car windshield, a sticky mount that you can affix to your dashboard, or an air-vent mount that is supposed to clamp on to your air vent vanes. Assembly was very quick and effortless. I tried the air vent mount first. The phone and its mount are heavy enough that they immediately pulled the vent vanes down almost fully closed. But the mount seemed to stay on and I was hopeful. But once the car started moving, the mount came out of the air vent and went crashing to the floor of my car. I noticed that the four rubber jaws that are supposed to hold the air vent vanes were not very tightly closed and had already opened up. Next I tried the windshield suction-cup mount. I cleaned off the windshield, cleaned the suction cup, then fully opened the suction cup button before pressing it against the windshield and flipping the button to the closed position. The windshield mount's arm is very stiff and strong, so when I mounted the phone in it, it did not sag or droop. I left the mount overnight in the car, and when I went back to it the next morning, the mount was on the floor, having come off the windshield sometime overnight. The suction cup switch was still in the closed position, but the suction cup just wasn't designed well enough to stay on even for one night, with phone weight or vibration. I can only imagine how durable this would be if I started driving around with my phone in the mount. I have not tried the dashboard mount so far. I am not a big fan of sticking something semi-permanently onto my dashboard especially given that different passengers may prefer to have their phones mounted in different places. At this point, I will probably return this phone mount and get something based on a different design. I wish this holder had included a CD slot mount. Those seem to much more secure. And honestly, I don't know if anybody still uses a CD slot to play CD's in their cars, so it seems to be designed just to mount phones! One more annoying aspect of this phone holder is the placement of the button that releases the spring-loaded phone clamp. It is at the back, near the top of the phone mount. However, since most phones are much taller than the actual mount, this button placement is very inconvenient. It is difficult to reach this button either from the bottom or the top when the phone is in the mount. You have to release it from the side in most cases, which seems uncomfortable and may be difficult if the phone is large. Apart from these problems, the product is decent, and if the mounts had worked, I would have overlooked the placement of the release button and kept it anyways. The mount has a pair of prongs at the bottom that are placed so as not to block the charging or headphone ports. And the side clamps did not block the power or volume buttons on my phone. But the fact that it does not fulfill the basic requirement that it be able to provide a secure place for me to mount my phone in my car necessitates the return of this product and the search for something better continues.

Not bad. Very sturdy and durable design. Suction cup works great. It's not very sturdy over bumps as my phone tends to shake.

This is a great phone holder, due to it's versatility for mounting on a variety of surfaces.

This has yet to be the best car phone mount so far! I love the 3 in 1 design. It does give the consumers some good choices on how they want the phone mount to be placed. My partner has this in his car without. He is just loving it! We personally love the soft cushiony clips because it is not harsh on the phone. It has 360 degrees rotation which gives you the option to find the perfect angle. The suction cup is very strong. We went car racing last weekend running at a speed of 170 and had some quick hard turns. The car phone mount may be shaky but the important thing is, it did not fall off and flew from other directions. The suction cup is impressive! My partner and I are very satisfied with the item! ***

Está súper! Tiene varias bases para ponerlo en el auto de acuerdo a lo que te guste más, desde el parabrisas, la ventilación del auto o en el plástico arriba del estéreo. La que me gustó más fue la base del parabrisas que se pega al vidrio con mucha fuerza y gracias a su mecanismo de liberación de succión se despega fácilmente cuando la quieres ajustar o cambiar de lugar. Finalmente el extremo que sujeta el celular me impresionó, lo aprietas con tus manos y ya no se suelta y cuando quieres tomar tu teléfono basta con apretar un botón para liberarlo. Comparé otro para mi papá, ya que le gustó mucho el mio.
