A Guinea Pig Nativity (Guinea Pig Classics)

I bought this book as a Christmas present for my 8-year-old daughter, who absolutely loves guinea pigs! Although the book is smaller than I expected, I was not disappointed by the quality of the pictures. The images are nicely done and present the Christmas story in a cute and creative way. Lovers of guinea pigs - adult and child alike - will love this cute little stocking-stuffer.

Like all these books I have received, this book doesn't disappoint. Our entire family had a lot of fun looking at the cast and reading the story. One small thing was the book was backyards. It must be read from back to front. Grandpa noted that made this book unique just like our two guinea pigs. So, we will be keeping it! And it will get a 5-star rating.

I’ve gotten my mom (she lovessss Guinea pigs) one of these for Christmas every year and now she has the whole collection. They’re so cute and really well done! I wish they would make more!

I love these books! The nativity story is straight from scripture, word for word. The pictures are so cute. Using guinea pigs was a unique idea. The book is hand-sized, which I love. I live miniature books.

I got this to complete my niece's collection of Guinea Pig Classics. The only one available was used. It is in very good condition except for a little warping in the pages which I have almost successfully pressed out by putting weight on it. I'm sure she will love I. Even though it's told using guinea pigs in costume, it stays pretty true to the story of our Lord's nativity.

We took our 2 guinea pigs to the Vet and saw the book setting out in the waiting room there! We knew that we had to find it. We got on Amazon and ordered this book along with the Romo and Juilet book as well! They are both so adorable and well made!

this is the cutest, most well written and composed story of "the child of Nazareth", using the most adorable guinea pigs ever!! kudos to the owners of these incredible sweet piggies; how they arranged their clothing, background, etc. this is the BOMB for a truly unique xmas book gift!!! love it, thank YOU!!!

This is just the cutest. Definitely still the right story, doesn't take away anything about the nativity story at all, but it's just so original and different to look at, this was one of my kids' advent calendar gifts, they had to find it together using clues, and they all loved it. Ages 14, 12, 8.

LOVE THIS BOOK (and all the others from this series!)

Même si je ne parle pas couramment anglais, les photos sont si explicites que l'on comprend facilement l'histoire ! Un excellent livre pour un jeune collégien qui découvre l'anglais. Et l'histoire de la Nativité vue par des Cochons d'Inde vaut son pesant de salades 😁

Ok... per i più religiosi, non prendetela a male, non è un libro ironico. Vuole solo essere una cosa "carina" e simpatica, per gli amanti dei porcellini d'india. Bloomsbury ha recentemente pubblicato "A Guinea Pig Oliver Twist" ed in precedenza "A Guinea Pig Pride & Prejudice" ("Oliver Twist" ed "Orgolio e pregiudizio"), quindi non è un caso singolare. Si tratta di un albo che, ovviamente, basa quasi tutto su le foto di questi simpatici animaletti vestiti/in ambientazioni a tema, di fianco troviamo poche righe di narrazione. Il testo è completamente in inglese, credo che una conoscenza base sia sufficiente per goderne, al massimo possiamo aiutarci un po' con il dizionario. Non è lunghissimo, non vi aspettate di leggere chissà che, sono giusto 25 foto con relativa paginetta di testo (vi lascio una foto d'esempio). Potrebbe essere un'idea regalo a gli amanti di questi animaletti, per i non amanti, potete tranquillamente farne a meno. Ovviamente, non vi passasse per la mente di prenderlo per un fattore puramente religioso. Buona lettura!

Dies ist das perfekte Geschenk für alle Meerschweinchen- oder generell Tierfreunde. Die Weihnachtsgeschichte ist schön erzählt und durch die Fotos gut veranschaulicht. Mit der Lieferung hat alles gut geklappt.
