Fantastically Fun Crosswords for Kids (Mensa) Paperback – April 28, 2006

I purchased two of these crossword books for my kids (this one specifically, and another by the same author with a similar title). They both keep the books in the car, and whenever we go run errands or take a short trip, they spend time working on these. They really enjoy them; they're not so hard that the kids get frustrated but not so simple that they treat children like idiots! My kids are 9 and 11, and I would purchase (and probably will, age permitting) more of these for both kids, assuming they have them for kids as they get older. Great way to not only stop kids from fighting in the car, but also to enable them to help each other out whenever one of them gets stuck (which is rare b/c the clues are very effective)! I believe they are real confidence boosters as well.

My 7 yr old grandson loves trying to help with my crossword puzzles, but I felt he could enjoy ones on his own level even more. He is very advanced in reading skills, but he can do most of these alone, but there are always a few he needs help with, so it is a great time for us to share in learning. It is a bonding time for young and old to do educational things that just seem like fun.

My grandson always wants to help me with my newspaper crossword puzzles, as well as the books that I have. They are too difficult for him, but he was intrigued. This product was just right for him. He is very proud of how many he has completed!

Kid enjoys doing them, but in each puzzle there seem to be a number of pop culture references that require adult input. For example, references to "The Simpsons" characters and exclamations, and PEZ dispensers...other than that, fun for the elementary school age kid.

My granddaughter has just gotten into crosswords. I could not find a crosswords book for her age anywhere! I knew Amazon would come through! This book is great, she loves that she can read and understand most of it and she especially loves it when she knows the answers! I work on this with her, some answers are a bit difficult but it's so much fun sharing this time together!

My eight year old hasn't put this down. He needs help with some of the clues, but it's a great family activity. My 6 year old is now insanely jealous, so I have to order another one :-)

A good combination of intuitive crossword puzzles to get your little one's started on crosswords. My 5 yr old wants more now.

Quello che voglio dire e' che non e' un libro di parole crociate che possa andare bene per un bambino italiano!E poi vorrei sapere a quale eta' un bambino statunitense (il prezzo stampato a tergo e' espresso in dollari) sappia quale stato confina con la Georgia (e relativa targa), o quale sia la capitale dell'Oregon....e via discorrendo. Conclusione: non amo sprecare le cose e quindi, prima o poi, magari la prossima estate sulla spiaggia, le parole crociate me le faro' io, che ho 65 anni e l'inglese lo conosco molto bene (anche se devo confessare che non ho la piu' pallida idea di quale sia la capitale dell'Oregon!... ma basta guardare su internet!)....

子供のために購入しました。子供向けのクロスワードなので、簡単な単語でうめられるのかと思っていましたが、子供が知っている事、子供の興味のあること（例えば、漫画のキャラの名前や、ゲームのこと）がたくさんでていました。英語圏の子供でなければ、わかりません。また、大人にとっては、かえって、難しいです。
