SanDisk 500GB SSD USB-C, USB 3.1, for PC & Mac & IP55 Rated

I take lots of photos and videos when traveling and it is easy to run out of storage space. So I wanted an external storage solution. For ₹6500, I could easily buy 2TB + hard disk but I was hesitant about buying regular mechanical external hard disks because of the horror stories I read about them. Mechanical hard disks can break any time, even a slight fall is enough to corrupt a mechanical hard disk. When traveling, it is difficult to protect your stuffs free from sudden falls and hit other things. So it is very risky with mechanical hard disks. So I purchased this Sandisk SSD. The pricing of ₹6500 is good but I was able to buy at over ₹1000 in discounts under various offers from amazon and my debit card. The transfer speed is around 400 - 500 MB per second. Transferring a 2 GB file takes less than 5 seconds! Note that, the USB port in connected device should also be modern one to support high transfer speeds. This SSD has USB C port and cable. They provide free adaptor for USB C to regular USB port. I use it mainly for storing videos and also edit videos right from the SSD via the video editor in my macbook. It is light weight, small size and easy to carry.. Ifou are on the go and want a reliable storage solution, go for this. This is worth the money!

A good portable/external ssd by SanDisk. Speeds are about 460mb/sec(read) and 440mb/sec(write) that my setup is able to achieve out of the drive. It's very lightweight and small, trust me you won't even feel if something's there in the package or not. My only concern is that it has a very cheap plastic covering the body on the front and if it will hold up till the drive does(cause an ssd is almost immortal). Overall a nice package. Not forgetting to mention that it connects easily with my oneplus 6 and samsung galaxy s10+ (you need to turn on the otg function on both) and the speeds are also very good considering that they are smartphones. I easily transferred 4k videos and high res photos from the phones to the drive. It runs a bit warm during casual usage too.

No doubt it's best SSD available in market right now. Compact and super portable.

An awesome product with high speed data transfer and carrying it is so easy and manageable. My business is to take backups in gbs on daily basis and this provides me a mind blowing speed where it saves almost 4 hrs of my time in data transfer or backups. Whether it be a system or mobile gadgets it's easy to plug in and use. Above all its so light in weight. It's now as my Keychain.

Bought it with my laptop and whole set up just never lags. My old PC took hours copying files but my laptop and this bad boy never lets me down(my laptop also have ssd but far better) also all my friends are like this is the best hard drive they've seen at this price. Got it for sale after that price went up, lucky day. Also I can connect it with my type c phone and have 500 gb storage on my phone that's just so cool. I played call of duty on my laptop directly from the SSD and without and lag or any problem it took it for a ride. This is my first recommendation when friends ask me about ssd.

very light and compact, fits anywhere, also no case needed as it is very sturdy and water proof. transfer speeds are amazing.I booted an OS(Linux) on it and it is just very fast and portable too with ample space and boots fast too.

I bought 1TB version. I wonder when I saw the product, its smaller than my palm.! Very lightweight, premium look.(see my attached pictures). Only thing I felt bad is the data transfer date. In description says, 450MB/s. I tried connecting to USB 3.0 port in my Asus strix rog laptop(ssd laptop) and also tried connecting to my 2015 model macbook pro. I never get that much speed. I could copy a 340MB file approx 2sec. Anyway its far better than HDD. So lost one star there. Giving 4 star. I recommend this product
