Dremel Circle Cutter - All Pluses but Two Caveats
This circle cutter is well made as all other Dremel products and does the job. However, remember that this is still a Dremel tool attachment and not a router. This means doing a rough cut of the circle first as you would with a router and increasing the depth gradually in multiple passes. Otherwise, the tool will chatter and may ruin your cut. What I also like about the tool is that it makes smaller circles or holes (since it can be tweaked to do both) which the Jasper circle cutters do not do. The method I used was to rough cut the circle inside the line, of course, using a jigsaw but leaving a 1" bar across the diameter to support the pin for the center of the circle. After cutting halfway into the MDF, I sawed out the support and finished the circle with my router and patterning bit. This worked very well. Good luck!

Works well and a must have if you need to cut a big cirlce with your dremel.
Made cutting the circle for a sub in my bronco rear side panel very easy and clean. Works great.

Nice attachment for rotary tool
I used this with my Harbor freight rotary tool and it worked well so far. I used the edge guide for cutting a bridge slot for an acoustic guitar build. I will also be using this as a circle cutter for installing the rosette on my guitar. The one downside to this tool, is the inabillity to line up the bit by eye, as the base covers up the cutting bit, and cannot be seen when the bit is cutting or before it cuts. This makes it difficult to get it in the correct position for cutting. The cost of the product was very reasonalbe.

Delivery
The quality of the product is excellent as expected. Dremel is a well recognized and respected brand. I would also like to give a big thanks to Amazon. I actually did not expect to receive my package after they arrived late ( after business hours) on their 1st attempt. And we were closed the day of the 2nd attempt. As I said, I did not expect delivery to be attempted a 3rd time. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you, Amazon. I received the package mid day, in good condition. It is exactly what I expected and unfortunately I will have to wait until a future project to use it since I had to make other arrangements for my customer after the 1st delivery was missed.

A great way to extend your dremel's uses!
Using this circle cutter with straight edge guide is a great way to turn your dremel into an even more valuable power tool. The circle cutter has worked flawlessly cutting very clean and quick circles/holes. The alternative is to purchase very expensive hole saws that require a major drill for the larger and deeper holes. The dremel and spiral saw bit will allow you to cut very large holes quickly. Set up is a snap and the center point adjustment is super easy to set without any special tools. The hole sizing gauge is a bit general, but if you need a precisely sized hole, I use a tape measure to set the radius by measuring from the far side of the spiral bit to the center of the pivot point. The straight edge guide turns your dremel into a small router that you can use to do all sorts of helpful cuts. Often, whenever I am away from my router table, this is my go to tool for cutting a small and simple dado or rabbit, or cleaning up an edge. I love this attachment!

Works on NON-DREMEL brand grinders
Works great even on NON-DREMEL brand grinders. I forget the name of which one I bought off Amazon, but I know it’s green and black and worked great

Works well for speaker cutouts
I used this to cut out holes for the subwoofers in my subwoofer box. It worked pretty well, but not perfect. Results were somewhere in-between a jigsaw and a router. I drilled a pilot hole for the center pivot piece as well as the cutting bit so I didn't have to ease it in at an angle or anything funny like that. With MDF it could take off 3/8" of material at a time, but I had to max the RPM on the Dremel which I normally don't like doing. The bit seemed to like cutting clockwise better than counter-clockwise (perhaps that's in the instructions I threw out, I don't know). The first pass took longer than the second. Make sure you have the circle you're cutting supported separately but at the same height as the main piece you're cutting from, otherwise when you get to the end of the cut it'll start dropping and you'll become inaccurate. Overall I would plan on making your cuts slightly larger or smaller (depending on if you're using the inside or outside of what you cut) and sanding it a bit to even it out. If you really want a PERFECT circle this probably isn't enough, at least for thicker materials or thicker/quicker cuts. But a proper router is incredibly expensive in comparison, especially if you already have the Dremel anyway and just have to buy this attachment. For one-offs it's fine, but if you plan on using this daily you have the wrong tool.

Works... but could be better
This thing is small, cheap, and mostly does what it claims to be able to do. If you only have a few holes to cut, and already have a Dremel, it's a whole lot better than buying a router and a circle guide. And it makes -much- nicer circles than a jigsaw -- I have to give it that! But, it's not inherently very accurate, and it's not terribly easy to get a hole the exact size you need. Or maybe I'm just terrible... someone else may have much better success. I resorted to test-cutting holes in scrap material until I get it dialed in, but, after I did, it works. Using my old, trusty, *corded* Dremel, and Dremel-brand cutting bits, I had very little trouble making circles, both small and large, in 1/2" birch plywood... but that feels about like the upper limit for a single pass. It works, and it fills a need. Would I recommend buying it to a friend who didn't already have decent Dremel gear? Probably not. Would I want to use it all day, every day? Absolutely not. But it's cheaper, and easier to handle, than a router rig for light use.
