Not Actually Bass Traps
These are very light density foam corner pieces that do not at all act as bass traps. As another reviewer said, they're probably only dense enough to dampen the highest frequencies.I installed 8 of these in the back corners of a little 9'dx10'wx6.5'h room and have attached before and after installation analysies taken from the central listening position. You can see that: (A) There is serious phase cancellation happening in the bass frequencies and (B) there was little to no change after installation.(Look at the red peak lines, not the green bars)

Great product, you may need more than 4 since these are approximately 2ft. Column Acoustic Wedge Studio Foam Corner Block Finish Corner Wall in Studios or Home Theater (4 Pack)

This stops echos
For those looking for basstraps this is probably not gonna work to well. but for my use im a voice recording and pianist so playing an instrument that has bass may not work well but, bass traps are quite expensive for just a small amount it covers the corners. but this will get most of the jobs done thats for sure. with about half my room covered in foam panels it stops the echos and i could only imagine with what my entire room would sound like if covered in foam panels.

same color ordered but product has different shades
after attaching command strips to the foam and placing on the wall i noticed that they are not all the same color. the picture attached is of the same corner but different angles to show that there is a color change. i’ve already spent my time placing the foam and spent money on command strips (which aren't cheap) so now my studio looks unprofessional. Do Not Buy!

Not much of a professional with sound engineering so cant give an educated review on the effectiveness of these. What I did notice is, after I installed them, I re balanced my eq and the lower mid bass was softened up a bit, didn't have to cut it as much in the 50hz, 63hz and 80hz freq range (went from -5db cut to -2db cut). I was pleasantly surprised though by how they dampened a nuisance vibration/noise from someones raggedy ac unit in my apt building that was strong in the corners, they virtually eliminated the sound. Ordered a second set to complete my studio.

For use with smaller studio monitors
I truly don't know how much of a difference these make because they are not as dense as i thought they would be, but i know its better to have them than to not have them. I got 8 for $25 so even if they don't pan out, it didn't ruin my pockets.I will say this though, do not buy these expecting that they are going to trap the bass of JBL LSR 308 studio monitors because i have tried and my house is still doing backflips from the vibrations. You will need a real deal bass trap for that. I'm talking 60 Cash Papers or more. These bass traps are more for 4 inch or maybe even 5 inch studio monitors if you are lucky. The more vertical and horizontal corners you can cover from left to right, top to bottom, nearest the source of sound (studio monitors) the more effective these will seem.

For looks only, maybe if you want something around ...
For looks only, maybe if you want something around the ceiling. This doesn’t function as a bass trap, not the way the large 12”x12”x12”s do (Which will eat sound.)Take it from someone that’s tried a lot of foams.. get less, more expensive foam. It’ll do more than an entire wall of thin foam and these in the corner.
