Great snake trap
Caught 2 snakes with these. It would be handy to be able to keep one to use later. No way to keep a covering from sticking to the trap. Does the job of catching a snake.

Both must be used, simultaneously. Nasty stench.
I have been doing professional rodent control for 40 years. These are very effective traps; however, the manufacturer deliberately packaged the traps so that both must be used in order to prevent loss of one of them. Once the package is opened, ANYTHING that comes in contact with the glue will irreversibly adhere, INCLUDING the plastic in which they are wrapped. I have lost many of these expensive traps because I turned my back and the plastic wrapper flopped onto the glue. The only way to prevent loss of the trap not in use is to rejoin it with its mate. All the manufacturers would need to prevent this problem would be to include a piece of paper or plastic that is treated to prevent adhesion to the glue. Of course, they're not going to do so because they would sell far fewer traps. Shameless. I have seen no evidence that the synthetic "peanut butter" odor actually attracts rats. The stench is so overpowering that I imagine it repels the rats.

Misinformation
Heading states 6 for qty. ordered, got 1 pack with 2. Way over priced for 2 when i can go to local store and buy a pack of 2 for 3.99. Description says sold in packs of 2, making you believe you'll be getting 3 packs to total the 6 stated in heading. I use around my fence to keep mice from entering my yard from horse corral on adjacent property. The sticky part is the strongest of all I've tried.
