Junie B., First Grader: Jingle Bells, Batman Smells! (P.S. So Does May)

Bought these for a 9 year old. She loves junie b jones books.

Every k and 1st grade girl loves this book.

Our 2nd grader is going to be reading this book in class, and we wanted him to have his own copy so he doesn't share the germy corona one in class. Book looks nice and is a decent size. The print is also a decent size , not too big or small. I can't review the actual book itself, since him nor I have read it yet. Will try and update review what he thinks about it after they read it in class.

My 1st grade class and I loved this book! Everyone was eager to find out what happened in the end!

Barbara Park knew how to capture the funny, innocent, social awkwardness of being young. Junie B is every parent's nightmare. She is not a naughty child. She is simply learning how to navigate in a big world full of unwritten rules about what a first grader should and shouldn't say and do.The story is simple and well written. The vocabulary is great for an early reader.I have to admit I am not fond of Junie's tart little sayings at times. I do not allow my kids to use words like "stupid" which are thrown around liberally in the book. I have made clear to my kids they can read Junie B, but if I ever hear Junie B-ish words coming from their mouths, Junie B will find herself at the half price bookstore on the corner.

Answer 3) I think this book deserves the 4 star rating because it was a little confusing at points but over all a phenomenal book by "Barbara Park"

Amazing reading of these books. The narrator was so fun to listen to. My child loves listening. My only issue is after 4 or 5 times even with cleaning it started skipping. It really is a fun audible book

My 8 yr old granddaughter LOVES Junie B books. They are written just as a little kid would talk and think. We get a lot of laughs reading each one together.

My six year old granddaughter is fortunate to have a first grade teacher who reads to the class from the Junie B. books on a regular basis. They follow along with Junie B. on her exploits and, as a class, discuss her thoughts, feelings and reactions, whether they be good or not-so-good. The opportunity to experience a kinship to a myriad of feelings and to share a laugh with your friends in a safe and educational environment is priceless and something we all expect, or hope for, in our classrooms. We love the June B. books!

My kids love Junie B Jones and they are fun to read out loud to them at bedtime. Although Junie isn't the most ideal role model, she is funny and it opens a discussion with the kids regarding the choices she makes.

Good As expected
