I have had two previous exact same models for many years. The piezo starter extension finally just wore out on one. Just replaced it with the same lighter. The other old one is still going strong. These lighters are built like a tank and have a strong adjustable torch flame. It will go through fuel fast at a high setting, but I fine tune it to a lower setting and it gets the job done. Best lighters I have used and I have been smoking cigars for almost 40 years. Not cheap, but good quality.

Garbage! One month later will not light I’m still paying for this trash! Don’t waste your money

Bought this lighter a little over a year ago and it has never worked consistently. Tried purging and refilling and multiple canisters of fuel. Nothing helps. Even sent the lighter to Xikar for repair one time. Avoiding Xikar lighters in the future.

Xikar lighters have always been my go to and worked first time right out of the box! If you take care of them, they will last you a long time PLUS if they ever stop working, you can send them back to get fixed or replaced. If you're looking for a great lighter this one is it.

I bought this lighter on 4/14/2020. It worked great for about a year, then it started leaking butane from the bottom. I sent in my lighter to be fixed because they have a lifetime warranty. Their website states that turnaround time is 4-6 weeks. It's been 6 weeks and I have not heard anything. I tried calling their customer service number and no one picks up the phone. It tells me I am the first caller in the queue and then it goes straight to someone's voicemail. It seems like this is the norm for this company as I have read similar complaints from other people who have bought their lighters. I initially bought the lighter based on their great review and their lifetime warranty. I am now having second thoughts on buying another lighter from them because their customer service sucks.
