Aluminum Head Push Pins, Steel 5/8" Point, Silver, 100 per Box [Set of 2]

I hang photos and artwork on my walls with pushpins. I had to look for a stronger alternative when my plastic pushpins started breaking when I hung heavy artworks on them. I know what you are thinking- why not use a nail and a hammer? That would be logical for you to think that. But what if the pushpins are closer to me than the nails and hammer? Yes, I am lazy! So here is the solution for me and you: an indestructible pushpin! These won't break on you, ever. I haven't broken a single one. The sharp pin part is longer than a plastic pushpins, so they can be pushed into wood and the mortar between bricks too. You may need a hammer or use that heavy wooden candleholder like I did.

I love these metal thumbtacks! The push pins are stronger and longer than plastic varieties. Can be hammered in lightly. Hold a fair amount of weight. I have been using them for decades.

These are great for stained glass

Perfect for what I needed. The pin is longer than the regular plastic tacks you get in stores and the aluminum head allows you to hammer them in. Needed something stronger than the plastic thumbtacks but less harsh than nails. These are great. A+ 100% yay!

I use these to pin canvas in place while stretching, before stapling. The aluminum heads detach from the pin very easily so I end up breaking several in the process. Still sturdier than plastic push pins, but not by much.

These aluminum push pins are quite disappointing. The heads are too small, and the points are too dull and rather weak. I bought them to hang Halloween lights and they are very difficult to get started in the wood trim because of the dull, soft points. I bought these because I was running out of similar but much better pins. I’d rather pay more and get a better product. These are nowhere near as good as my few remaining older ones.
