Nova 18" Fluorescent High Power Brightness Photo/Video Ring Light for Video, Photo, YouTube, Stream, Beauty

I received this ring light for Christmas and I LOVE IT! I make youtube videos and this just makes everything that much easier. I no longer have to wait for the perfect natural light from my window to film. This works well in daytime and at night as well. It's super bright but it doesn't wash out your face. I received the package in tact and carefully boxed. I also bought the Diva Ring Light Mini Desk Tripod and putting the whole thing together wasn't hard at all. I already filmed my first video with it and I seriously can't wait for more. If you're looking to make an investment but are unsure I say get this light. It took me awhile to take the plunge but this is definitely worth the price!

The ring light is the most amazing thing! I can do broadcasts while doing my makeup and it shows up very well. It's super simple to put together and fairly portable. Works great with my camera. Would definitely buy again. :)

I was so surprised to get this in working order as I had ordered another ring light from another company and it arrived broken. This product was completely packaged to ship. With lots of care. Lots of padding. I just shot a cookbook with this light. I can't wait to start playing with portraiture with this. I love how much light it throws. I also loved that I was able to use this with an existing tripod I had for lighting. Very sturdy gooseneck. Stayed in place exactly where I put it and needed it to be.

Ring lights produce excellent wrap-around lighting often used for portraiture. They virtually eliminate shadows & create beautiful round halo's in the eyes. The DivaRing is no exception & produces beautiful, soft light. This version does not have a dimmer knob that allows you to control the power output. Overall, a very nice piece of eqipment!

The light itself is okay, however I found that when I combined it with my teleprompter + tablet the electromagnetic field interfered causing the tablet to be non-responsive to the scroll feature (or even a wired mouse). Without the light my tablet + teleprompter scrolls fine and works perfectly. And yes, I have made sure the tablet or any part of the teleprompter is not touching any part of the light. I can see the tablet cursor start to jump around within 5-8 inches of the light before I even put it on the holder. And again, yes I have tried insulating it with foam, rubber etc. and am absolutely sure that no part of the teleprompter is touching any part of the ring or light stand. I have also moved the teleprompter up so that it is in the middle of the ring so as far away from the edges of the ring as possible. However the tablet cursor starts to behave oddly within 5-8 inches of the light. Since I bought the light to work with may camera + teleprompter I have to say I am not satisfied with it. By itself the light with the camera works fine.

HOW DID I LIVE MY LIFE WITHOUT THIS????? I film videos on YouTube and hated dragging out the lighting to film. But this has changed it all up. Easy to put together, easy to use and the lighting is just perfect for my videos.

Works perfectly for what I am using it for. Love this because it's an easier set up then most soft boxes or other lighting. Would definitely recommend to someone who is a beginner in the lighting area of taking pictures etc. Shipping was prompt and item was as described.

When I plugged the light in, it turned on, then immediately turned off. It flickered a bit and sounded like a fuse went out. I tried multiple outlets, but the light wouldn't turn on again. I have since returned the light, and ordered the newer nebula diva ring because I heard the light quality is better than the nova anyway. The light I received was refurbished, so keep that in mind.
