They paper quality is great as well, definitely recommended to all those who love cute notebooks and diaries for whatsoever purposes:) The paper doesn't bleed any kind of ink either, I have even attached a video review for suggestions, must check and must buy:)

The product delivered was exactly as per my expectations! No misleading in terms of the paper quality. Genuine handmade diary with sturdy paper and perfect binding. The diary has a plain green back cover and the image at the front is pasted into the cover.The pages are handmade and of good quality. Ink spreads onto the page a bit but it's not really discernible unless you look up close. Not recommended for work that involves using an eraser though. The pages are eroded after using an eraser, as evident in the image.Still completely worth the money due to the overall quality of the cover image, pages, binding and paper cut!

Nice handmade diary for the price. Product is same as in picture. The note from Goonj team was a sweet gesture. Look forward to buying other Goonj creations..

Bought this diary for my book journal. This also happens to be my first ever journal. So, considering that I've had a lot to think about how I want my journal diary to be. Goonj has the perfect go-to-diaries for you.I chose this travel edition because of it's beautiful cover as it perfectly suits my "traveling through the books" idea. The plain papers are thick and white. You can use any marker, sketch or water colors on it. Pretty affordable. Overall product quality is very good & that little anchor is just cherry on top.P.S. - Also, thank you Goonj for this little bookmark.

This diary is 90% good because it has1. Good quality paper2. Right priceSomethings that could be improved1. Stitches2. Cover page qualityFor me, I didn't like the graphic on the cover so I changed it and covered it with cellophane to make it durable and also removed the book mark which is basically just a ribbon.

If you know what a handmade diary should look and feel like, then you will probably like it. I didn't know, and would not have bought it for my needs had I known. The pages are highly textured, and not suitable for smooth pencil sketching (which was what I bought an unruled notebook for). The diary does not stay closed, which is why the thread loop is provided. Overall, it looks and feels like an NGO creation, which is fine, just that it didn't seem apparent from the description and reviews. For travel, it is good because it is very light and won't add appreciably to luggage weight. For writing with a ball-point pen this should work just fine, as well as for any other needs where you want small-sized textured paper (watercolor, pastel, charcoal, or chalk drawings).

I bought this only as a journal to write in and didn't think much of the paper quality. I thought it would be an 80-90 gsm, just good enough to write in. Turns out, the paper is much thicker, and my biggest surprise was that it's rather good for watercolours. The bleeding is minimal, that too when you use a lot of water. Of course the paper texture isn't suitable for highly complicated watercolour with lots of strokes, but it's great for some basic painting. This is a great value for money because it's good for just writing too.My only issue is with the cover, as it's a little flimsy and not very hard. If Goonj can make the cover harder and more sturdy, this would be the perfect journal.

I would surely recommend this for people who writes along with some sketch and crafts added upon. I totally like the paper and it never smudge or bloat for any type of pen..you can also paste notes and make an extra pocket of your own at the end for keeping the travel tickets and other token of memories. Since it has a rope to tie around. Never worry about missing the receipt's or bills kept inside. I completed writing the whole book, as you keep writing this book somehow motivate to write more.
