Power monitor does the job, but setup can be tricky and lacks a backlight
I recently purchased this and have been using it for a few weeks now. Overall, I've found it to work as advertised - it shows the energy usage of whatever device is plugged into it. However, I'm not sure how accurate it is compared to other monitoring devices, so I'll have to check with another device to be sure. One downside to this power monitor is that it doesn't have a backlight, which makes it a bit difficult to see the screen without getting up close. It's not a deal breaker, but it can be a bit inconvenient at times. In addition, I found the setup process to be a little tricky as the instructions aren't overly clear. It took a bit of trial and error to get it working correctly, but once I figured it out it's been working fine. All things considered, I'd recommend this power monitor to others. It does its job well, although it would be nice if it had a backlight for easier reading in low light situations. The setup process can be a bit frustrating, but once it's up and running it works well.

Plug and play , will measure export power as well as import
A simple and easy to use meter, it can measure Ampere, Watts, Voltage and store it as Kwh used or highest and lowest measured etc.It has a built in rechargeable battery so moving it around will not affect its memory of measurments. It can also measure export power as well as import, it will measure my solar power inverter output which is handy to know for placment of my panels.I got the cheaper version which does not have backlit light, viewing it straight on is ok but in the dark it will be difficult to read at an angle. If I buy again I will spend a little more and get the one with LED built in.

Perfect to monitor power consumption
I bought this to monitor how much power was being used for our shed as I was worried how much it was using with heaters, but with the help of this, it put my mind to rest and showed me all was and is safe.

You could probably find a better one in the same price range
It's OK, but not really great. I've had another one from a different brand and the readings on this one are about 10-15% lower than the other one. Of course, I have no real way to tell which one is off, but I'm writing this to give you an idea of what sort of accuracy range you can expect with these devices. There are two things that are objectively inferior compared to my other cheap meter. One is the time this one takes to give you a reading. A simple On/Off device goes up to 2.5-2.7 kW usage pretty much instantly. This device takes maybe 5 seconds to gradually increase the displayed usage to the correct range. It's really taking a while to refresh. The other issue is that it fails to register usage below about 1W. Insignificant overall, but if you want to use this to work out how much your vampire devices drain while plugged in, this is inconvenient. I've got two chargers that together show up as using 1.8W idle, but each separately fails to register on this device and shows a zero reading.

Getting a hold on what uses how much.
Easy to use, apart from the screen not being the easiest to read from certain angles. I'm using this to see what we actually spend on electricity for various items around the house. quite surprised to see that a 55" TV and sound bar cost about £1.00 to £1.50 a night (200 to 225 watts @34p/KwHr).Looking to see what the actual daily consumption of the kettle is, and what a 'load' consumption for the washing machine, and tumble dryer is (we use the dryer as little as possible, but you do still have to wash clothes!), and usual usage of the computer.

Accuracy of information
Arrived super quick and found to be a very accurate in its measurement's well pleased with item it is a pity to reset you have to push a little button on the front with a paper clip nice would have nice to have it built in to its functions but that aside it is very good and would buy again

An absolute waste of money...
I used it once when I bought it and got the power useage results for 3 items, which is all I wanted it for. The instructions are TOTALLY useless and non sensical - typical for its country of origin. I tried to test a new product I bought a few months later and gave up with it. I just thought I would give it another chance before binning it and tried to test the useage of my outdoor Christmas lights. It is totally not fit for purpose.
