Rekucci Women's Ease into Comfort Modern Stretch Skinny Pant with Tummy Control

I'm 5'5" and weigh between 115-120. I usually wear a size 2, and in some brands a size 4. Size usually 4 fits ok but gets saggy in the derriere after a few wears. With all my other pants, this is easily remedied by washing/heat drying. I'm a mommy who sits at a desk all day long and prefers eating ice cream to working out. My tiny Asian mother blessed me with a thin build but I still have all the imperfections that come with parenthood and it being the hiking off season aka the dreaded winter of the PNW. These pants definitely do a great job of hiding all flaws...self-consciousness be gone!However, the size 2 wasn't available so I thought... what the heck, perhaps the size 4 will shrink a little after drying. After reading so many reviews, I'm going to try a low heat setting then air dry as I don't want to destroy the fabric by overheating.When I first put them on, the shape was weird around my waist. They're a thick, stretchy fabric with a very light sheen, and they don't feel at all like those ultra soft jeggings (which is precisely what I was looking for). Perfect for wearing to work and true to color (really dark charcoal gray). They pull on with no button/zipper, yet have two full sized pockets up front. Without a shirt tucked in, the shape at the waist is baggy... Seems they are shaped to accommodate working up and around larger hips. Kinda bugged me at first, but I got over it. With a shirt tucked in, looks very professional and cute. The length at the ankle is a bit longer than I'd like, but I can live with it. Will definitely order the shorter pants next.These sit just halfway through my belly button and hips... SUPER COMFY! No plumber's butt (I'm not 21 anymore) and not overly high waisted. Doesn't ride up in unwanted places.I did notice a weird part in the stitching on the rear though... It's a bit shinier there and almost looks like it's coming apart. I did a minor stretch test and the threads are holding tight... Just SHINY in that spot.Even with my little complaints (borderline neurotic/OCD when it comes to clothing) I do like these pants and will try other colors, but definitely going with my usual size 2 next time around.Hope this helps!

Just received these pants today so I can't comment on my long term impressions, but I wanted to share my initial review. These pants are great! Material is thick but stretchy and seem high quality. I am 5'6", 155 lbs. generally I wear a size 6 in pants but sometimes 8. Based on the recommendation in the product description, I decided to go with an 8. These have no zipper, so they are actually pretty difficult to get on (especially over my large butt), but once they were on, they looked AMAZING. My husband was also thoroughly impressed my the way they looked and fit. Removing them was also very difficult, but hopefully they will loosen up over time. Overall though, I am very happy with this purchase. They look awesome and I'm sure I'll get used to the difficulty of getting them on/off.

I'm a size 4-6, bought size 6. (5'5'', 128 lbs, very muscley glutes.)Ok I am shocked in love with these pants. I thought they weren't going to fit, btu then it just turns out that my butt is big, and once i got them over they did this amazing, UNHEARD OF thing where they fit my wait AND my ass. Simultaneously. While making me feel very secure and tucked in, instead of spilling over the waistband and feeling self-conscious about it. Also they look very professional, but I can still randomly do a tree pose in them.10/10, 100%, hooray, will buy more in different colors as soon as I give them a wash test.

UPDATE: The dark charcoal pair I have (~6 months) has now started to pill as well.-------------------Note: I also ordered this product in Dk Charcoal (size 4) - and those are great. This review only applies to Black color.The black color fits tighter than the dark charcoal (a 6 fits me in the former, but a 4 in the latter). The black pair also has a shiny silver tag on the back pocket that says Rekucci, making me wonder if the style has recently been updated.The pants fit wonderfully and were set to become my new favorites, but even before the first wash, I noticed small spandex fibers fraying around the back seam. It rendered these otherwise fantastic pants unwearable, and I returned them.

These are great pants. Super comfortable. No weird fabric rolling in the tummy area or stretching and pulling. I am between size 14 and 16. I ordered down. These fit great. If wasn't working on losing weight and toning up for summer I would have ordered a 16. They are easy on until I get to my hips. If I unzip the pockets it gives you just a little extra give to get them on. Then zip up the pockets. and go. They are super comfortable when the are on. Even though they were a little snug because I sized down, they do not cut or irritate. Love the that there are pockets. Small but at least they have them. I wasn't sure when I felt the fabric, if they would be forgiving on my shape or show every imperfection on my back side. These are smoothing. Feel great. Look great. Comfortable. Will be ordering another pair.

I'm going to need to applaud the customer service at Rekucci; I recently sent a pair of dress slacks back as the fit seemed on the smallish side. Almost immediately, customer support reached out and questioned the return. I explained my reasons, and they resolved the issue by offering a pair of slacks in a larger size free of charge! I explained that I had already replaced the order with a larger size, so they offered a choice of colors and still insisted I accept the extra pair. This company goes above and beyond what is expected, and the slacks are perfect for the office or casual. I couldn't be more pleased with the experience.Thanks, Rekucci!

I've bought a lot of these so here are my reviews.(1) Cuts Review -BARELY BOOTCUT is basically just like the bootcut design.Full-on BOOTCUT is a bit wider under the knee but barely noticeably.STRAIGHT is noticeably leaner and very snug-fitting below the knee. Only comes in tummy control.SKINNY pant fit is definitely cut like leggings and quite tight. Waist is slightly tighter.SECRET FIGURE is slightly tighter around upper leg and waist. Had to order 1 size up.TUMMY CONTROL cuts are ironically tighter around the waist. Not sure if anyone actually wants pants to feel tighter around the waist if they're needing tummy control...(2) Colors Review -MAUVE is 100% true to the picture. BLACK is black 100% true to pic.DEEP PLUM is gorgeous and 100% true to pic. *Burgundy* is maybe 95% true to pic, possibly a tiny bit darker (lovely color).NAVY is much darker than depicted in the pics and almost looks like a black in normal lighting--only bright lighting will reveal the blue tone. BROWN MIX is not as grainy-looking as depicted in the pic and is actually a much nicer neutral brown in real life.PETAL PINK is almost true to pic but has no peach tone, as it's a true light pink.WHITE DOTTED LINES PATTERN is quite subtle and just looks like an even light navy from afar.WHITE CHECK PATTERN is not subtle and somehow squares look a tad bigger in real life.NAVY/AQUA TILE PATTERN is quite clownish and true to pic, though this may be what you're going for.NAVY TARTAN PATTERN is actually nicer in real life and more subtle than depicted, as well as darker (though the material is a bit thicker, perhaps due to dyeing).(3) Sizes Review -American. Not Chinese sizes.With a 30 to 34-inch waist, go 10 to 12. Length is perfect for height between 5'7" and 5'9". If you're 5'6" or shorter, you might want to choose short style.(4) Material -All cuts are stretch material. Material is thin unless you opt for SECRET FIGURE.Note: The NAVY TARTAN PATTERN material is a bit thicker, perhaps due to dyeing process.

I really love Rekucci pants so far. This is the second pair I've ordered since I wanted pants with a legging fit (the first style I ordered was the straight leg). These don't hug my ankles like I expected (i.e. skin tight), but close enough. The zip pockets on the front are great. Also, when you try to pull these on, you may have a little trouble getting them over your bum, but once they're on, they are extremely comfortable and very slimming. They're perfect for the office.

I am 72 and still a bit of a clothes horse. I have always had trouble buying anything for my bottom half be it shorts,capris or slacks. I have a very slim hip and legs and can never find anything that does not "bag" at the hips. Finally I have found a slack that fits like a glove. I am so blown away, There was an insert with the slacks showing all styles and colours, I will be buying my wardrobe from them. The lacks I bought are super comfortable.

Just wanted to warn future buyers that the colour silver has a very noticeable green hue. I almost feel like I might have received the wrong colour. But, I'm keeping them, as the colour works for some of my tops. But it's probably not for everyone.I do like the fit, and this is the 4th pair (all different colours) I've bought now.

The pants fit my waist & hips perfectly (could have ordered a size smaller to get the benefit of the tummy control) but they were oddly bunchy around my low stomach/pubic bone area.They actually made my stomach look saggy. I’ve got thick thighs, so maybe they were too tight there? All pictures of women wearing these pants tend to be slender, so maybe they just aren’t meant for a curvier lady?I’ve returned them for a refund.

J'ai acheté ce pantalon il y a environ un an, une première fois. Je l'ai adoré et porté fréquemment. Je l'ai malheureusement endommagé en déplaçant un meuble. J'ai donc commandé une nouvelle paire ; modèle et taille identique. Toutefois, le pantalon reçu apparait être un peu plus petit, ce qui diminue grandement le confort. J'ai également l'impression que le tissus est moins extensible que la paire précédente. À noter, j'ai également commander une paire bleue à motif de la même taille. Celle-ci est plus grande et très extensible. Bref, il semble que les tailles et la qualité du produit ne soit pas constante.

I had never order clothing for amazon and had very low expectations as I haven’t found any kind of dress pant I feel fit right and are flattering, either in store or online. These pants seem well made and are as flattering as the description suggests. Each pair came with a fold-out panflet with their other styles and products.

High quality material! well made! this is for the professional woman! I am 4ft 11 and I order a 6Short and they fit perfectly. I have since bought more pants with same brand name and will continue to buy.

These pants are very well made. They look and fit exactly as advertised as advertised. They are attractive and comfortable. They will be part of my regular wardrobe.

Super comfortable work pants the only problem is they're pricey but they're worse the price since I've washed them numerous times and they still look brand new

Not slim fit. Ordered a size down and it was baggy in some places but tight in others.

This pant is extremely comfortable and fits perfectly. Its worth the money. The only thing I wish it had was the belt strap which some people might need just in case. Overall it was a worthy and wonderful purchase.
