Numerology: With Tantra, Ayurveda, and Astrology

I have been studying Numerology for 40 years or so. I have tons of books that I have collected since I was young. I am always on the look out for a book that will introduce me to something new. I found just that with this book. Vedic Numerology has the same mechanics as Pythagorean Numerology, but it incorporates more Astrology and Hindu culture. Like Chaldean Numerology, the number 9 is not used to designate any letter for calculations. This form of Numerology emphasizes the day of birth more than any other aspect of a chart. The book is well written and easy to follow.

Buy this book- enough said, but if that didn't get across allow me to tell you why. Numerology with Tantra, Ayurveda, and Astrology delivers a powerful message. Unlike books from Western academics, Johari's work is replete with spiritual significance and it is so simplistically well-written that even the typical uneducated bum babbling on the corner can take something out of this work. Spiritual insights are supposed to be simplistic while bearing profundity. Too many times I have come across books using long words and tawdry sentences to explain simple truths, yet I was relieved to find a book such as this one for such a low price. But, aside from the bargain, it is definitely a great step to make in any and all spiritual endeavors. I searched for God and found only myself; I searched for myself and found only God.~ Rumi Through this book, if read sincerely and devotedly, the reader will find God and himself.

I think people get used to complex written works even though they find no solutions in it and this is why you see sub-par reviews for this book which is very straightforward and easy to understand. What the author has done is summarised the works of thousands of manuscripts into a syncretized restoration of the ancient knowledge and all its true correspondences. Here you will find all the knowledge needed to know Self. The bonus is, it's on Kindle! Looking forward to more Kindle publications from this author. This is a fascinating reference text around this complex yet, simple to apply practice. I was interested in the connections and love Johari’s writings so why not? What fascinating concepts. This book is very well written and explains Vedic numerology very well. I highly recommend it if you're interested in learning the Vedic system of astrology and numerology. Harish Johari does a great job of explaining the Hindu point of view of people, the stars and numerology.

If you know what this book is you will be more than happy with what's inside fantastic book...

A little strange , because it is different from western numerology, but we'll worth a read .

Not bad, a good summary. The planetary lordships are assigned to each number according to Vedic astrology. Curiously, a different tradition which assigns number 7 to Saturn and 9 to Ketu is not even mentioned. Interesting the footnote about the correct calculation of birth time according to the different conception of "day" (dawn to dawn, and not 12:01 am to 11:59pm) in the Hindu tradition. However, our standard times are not calculated upon the Hindu calendar, but the western one anyway.

Just started reading. Well written and interesting for someone who is just starting in numerology. But it seems for the advanced numerologist as well. Well printed with proper para spacing, etc.

Wer sich für Numerologie interessiert, für den ist dies das richtige Buch. Es ist nicht gerade ein dicker Welzer aber voll gepackt mit Informationen. Das Preis - Leistungsverhältniss ist sehr gut. Wer sich mit Numerologie beschäftigt und andere Bücher schon zu diesem Thema gelesen hat, wird von diesem Buch begeistert sein. Es ist ein anderes Rechensystem, also die Buchstaben werden mit anderen Zahlen in Verbindung gebracht. Dies hat das Ergebniss ,dass wir dadurch auch ganz andre Zahlenbedeutungen bekommen.Für die jeweilige Zahl stehen auch Empfehlungen drin, z.B.: zu Verhalten, was gemieden werden sollte, Meditation usw.

Es un excelente libro de un excelente autor. Los conceptos que contiene son muy interesantes y abren una puerta hacia los conocimientos ancestrales de la India.
