I’ve never written an Amazon review, but this is truly a miracle product. I have very dry skin and in the winter it gets even worse. My lips were flaking off, flaky, and were in pain and this immediately within two days of using it transformed them back to normal. I’ve sent this product to everybody I know. I’ve tried everything from super expensive to this being on the lower end price wise. Ingredients wise there’s only three ingredients plus it has hydrocortisone which helps with inflammation. I can’t say enough good things.

I’m not sure what sorcery this is. I don’t know what is in this stuff that makes it better than anything else out there, including prescription. I have never suffered with lip flares of any kind before this episode. I have been struggling with it for a month now and have tried just about everything else to no avail. Not sure why this is such a well kept secret. I’ve never heard of it, and even after many exhaustive searches, this was kind of hidden in the search results. You’d think something this good would be well known and be a first line hit. I guess I don’t know very much, but I do know one thing - IT WORKS AND WORKS FAST. My lips weren’t cracked, but they had a hard shiny shell that no moisture could penetrate. Beyond the lip line, there was an itchy, scaly red rash that burned and seemed worse at the end of the day. The corners were crusty but no evident blisters. I was losing my ish over this. My doctor prescribed cortisone jelly and it did nothing. Thankfully, I found Dr. Dan’s. I waited by the door for Amazon to show up. When they finally delivered, I couldn’t get to it fast enough. Within 30 minutes of applying it for the first time, I am feeling massive relief already. My lips feel soft like that hard shell has dissolved. The flakiness is no where to be found and the stinging, itching, tingling, burning sensation has calmed the eff down. I have high hopes for continued relief, but even just this much was worth the price and the wait. I am a new Dr.Dan Fan.

Love this lip balm. I have purchased it many times and it provides great relief from dry, painful lips. Would definitely recommend.

I was recommended by my dermatologist to get this as I suffer from eczema and have had the worse spell of my lips itching and never experienced this before. I used it and seemed to help at first but it seems as I almost got used to it by time I used the whole stick that it wasn’t helping much anymore. I probably would still buy again as it was nice and helped but didn’t really go away. Still have yet to find any that has completely healed it.

I’m not much of a review-leaver but needed to for this one! I’ve had a stubborn, dry, chapped patch on my bottom lip for over 2 months that nothing could fix! Aquaphor, Vaseline, Neosporin, Dr. Bronner’s Burt’s Bees.. you name it and I tried it! No matter what, my bottom lip and the skin under my lip stayed cracked and peeling. I finally googled “how to heal chapped lips when nothing else works” and this was the first thing that popped up. After only 3 days on using it, my lips are completely healed and back to normal! The front of the packaging literally says “When nothing else works!” and I couldn’t think of anything more accurate!! Wish I had found this product sooner!

Dry, crusty lips EVEN with exfoliating- GONE with this. I tried so many other brands, balms, masks, etc. Did deep search for reviews and found this and for this price, LOVE IT. It feels a bit thicker than regular lip balm. I exfoliate then put this on, drive to work and then apply stain or lipstick and no crusty or dry lips. Better than ANY expensive products I bought from Sephora or ulta.

I’m a waitress and my lips are often glowing red and incredibly painful after my shift. I also live in Minnesota, and our winters aren’t very gentle on the skin. I really didn’t know anything about this lip balm when I ordered it, except that it’s probably the very last product in the universe for dry painful lips that I’ve never tried. I routinely use aquaphor and I love it, but it doesn’t help once my lips are painful and inflamed. It also doesn’t help me during my shift even when applied before I walk into the bar. I also routinely use Tatcha lip mask, again, I love it, but it doesn’t help once my lips are painful and inflamed (although it does feel nice if you put it in the fridge before applying it!). I was at a loss… all my amazing products were only amazing in keeping my lips hydrated and soft - not in helping me get back to hydrated and soft. It was like putting on a bandaid, and I know y’all know what I’m talking about. So, I tried the cortibalm. I’m not kidding, within about 12 hours my lips felt amazing. I used it for about 2 days before switching back to the Aquaphor and you’d have never known my lips were bothering me. Ive had it for about a month now and after the initial 2 days of use, I now use it once before my shift and I’ve managed to avoid the extreme irritation that inevitably comes by the time my shift is done. It’s pure magic. Now, keep in mind this isn’t a sexy product. It doesn’t smell like coconuts or vacation, and it’s not a lip gloss. It’s literally a lip saver. This is the product you want when you’re trying to repair the skin barrier on your lips but not when you’re heading out on a date and need to add a little sheen. This is very hydrating, soothing, and fast acting. It does not have a scent (which I love) and it applies easily (it’s not dry or chunky on application) and you can feel the relief in no time. It does have hydrocortisone in it so I probably wouldn’t use it as my go-to around the clock every day, but using it before being outside in winter or before an activity (or waitressing shift) that you know dries your lips out is perfect. At this point, I don’t even need to reapply it - I just need to apply it once and it mitigates the damaged skin barrier. I can promise you, I will never ever be without this again. It’s just silly it took me so long to find this. I’ve already ordered the 3 pack since making this purchase.

The best lip balm ever. Period. I'm on accutane 20mg (daily) for the last few months and in general have always had very dry lips cuz I'm always licking them making it worse. Ive tried all best ones in the market- sisley, clea de peau, rms, by terry, la roche posay, burt bees, jack black, blistex etc you name it and I must have tried it. However, this one is the best of them all. It really helps with chapped peeling lips. I normally use this and then use my other lips balms all through the day. The only negative is the taste/smell. I don't like that one bit but it's a tiny price to pay for healthy lips.

This is the ultimate solution for anyone who couldn't find a cure for their cracked lips which just wouldn't heal no matter what you did. I even visited dermatologists whose recommendations didn't work for me. The price is totally worth for me because I was at the verge of giving up because nothing else worked for me.

This worked on chronic chapped and painful lips from first use. This doesn’t wear off and you can get by with applying just once in the morning. expensive for the quantity but given it has long staying power and analgesic i think it will last a very long time.
