Sadly, this backpack is too long to fit underneath the seat in front of me. I had to use it on a five day trip, otherwise I would return it. It's also rather heavy to wear, despite the support in the waist. I was looking for something that I could use as both a travel bag, and something to wear while out touring. I would say this would make a great hiking backpack, which I guess is what it's designed for, but it doesn't work well as a travel backpack.

Awesome backpack took it to Yellowstone National Park. Great been wonderful for the past week hiking.

The buckle broken
The buckle is broken so easily. I just started using it during Arizona trip. I can’t return and have to use it while hiking many spots.

Best backpack I’ve found!
This pack has it all - the durability's amazing, it’s incredibly lightweight, breathable spinal feature and carries everything you need for 2+ weeks travel while still fitting in an overhead compartment. If not overly stuffed, fits under seat in front of you. Backpacked for weeks with no issues whatsoever. The hip straps are comfy with pockets big enough for a phone and essentials like sunscreen and money.
