BUY THIS CURLING IRON
Ok, I’m going to be honest with y’all: I am a girl who, up until a week ago, knew how to do like, 4 things to my hair and make it look *somewhat* presentable. I could blow dry it straight, pull it back into some sort of nest on top of my head, put some product in it and let it dry, and sometimes make it look good with a diffuser (I have wavy/slightly curly hair naturally). YOU NEED THIS CURLING IRON.I was terrified of the idea of it at first, but I got it at a reduced price the day or two after Christmas after not getting it from Santa. I wasn’t sure how it was going to work for me because any other hair tool I’ve gotten to make my hair look fabulous I could never figure out (or I was just too lazy to take my time with it). The fact that it kinda “sucks” your hair into it was enough to make me uncomfortable about it at first, but I figured I’d give it a shot because it was a bit cheaper than it was a few days earlier.Y’all. This thing is virtually foolproof. I was nervous the first few curls I did because I was certain it was going to suck my hair into it, get stuck, catch on fire, send me running frantically around the block until I stuck my head in a snow drift, and leave me with a bald spot. But then, this amazing thing happened: I tried to put too much hair into the chamber (because, again, I’m lazy), and it just stopped. It wouldn’t suck the hair into the chamber. It stopped. It forces you to use the appropriate amount of hair for each curl not only for safety, but for optimal results. I’ll even admit that the first time I used it on New Year’s Eve, I was one day post-wash and didn’t feel like washing and drying just to try this thing out, and even though it says for optimal results to use on freshly cleaned, dry hair (I know what you’re thinking: “you lil rebel, you.” And, I am), it still turned out fabulously.LAZY GIRLS, THIS IS YOUR DREAM CURLING IRON. The first time I used it, I used it on the 12 second setting and it took me nearly 45 minutes to get through all my hair (I don’t have especially thick hair, but I have a decent amount of hair). You guys? I’ve used it 3 times in the last week and last night, I’ve gotten so good at it that it only took me about 25 minutes to curl my whole head.I immediately fell in love with this thing, but here’s where I’m sold on it. Yesterday evening, I curled. I went out on the town, things happened that I’m not sure I remember (not due to any brain damage from the heat of the iron, but because of my own poor decision making completely unrelated to this purchase), and it’s cold as balls outside so I was wearing a hat and a hood when I was outside. I went home, slept on it, laid around all day on it (we’ll say I “came down” with a 24 hour “flu”), pulled it back in a ponytail, decided I needed to go get something to eat, took it out of the ponytail, brushed it out, used no extra product (last night I sprayed a minimal amount of extra hold hairspray that I should probably write a review on next), and while it doesn’t look the same as it did yesterday, I’m still getting complimented on it and I still feel fabulous despite my current state. Pictures are attached.

Figured it out! With my illness...
I suffer from a chronic illness that leaves me fatigued most of the time, and it sent me in search of new, and easier ways to curl my hair.My Limitations--**Sleeping on ANY kind of roller, rags, braids, curls, or any other is out of the question.** Using a curling iron for each curl with my arms in the air is out of the question.**Having someone else curl my hair for me is also out of the question.**The use of a ton of product so I only have to do my hair once every 5 days or so does not seem appealing to me.***I also needed a good option that also did not include taking all night to curl my hair, only to sleep on it, and try to fix it in the morning to be presentable.Ugh!So now you know my needs...and on the internet (having never seen one in a store) I was very excited, & little wary of the $80 + price tag.**** BUT ****I am SO happy I did!!**Now mind you this thing is heavy for a person like me who randomly experiences muscle weakness also, and is top heavy, but works very well for my needs. One those days I know to give myself some extra time. ;)**I have a 6" x 6" ceramic tile I keep next to my mirror to set my curler on so I don't have to mess with it's stand** I wait for it to completely heat up before beginning.** You do have to use small sections about an inch or so wide, and twist them so they are smooth.**IF you pull the hair too tight out from your head the curler reads that as an error, and backs back off your hair. Most likely a fail safe so it doesn't rip hair out of peoples hair. Try not pulling your hair so taunt while "feeding" it into the curler. Works great once you figure out that trick!** Also combing through your hair prior to twisting helps alot.**Allow the curl to cool before brushing through, it helps your hair to keep the curl. Brush through while hot/ warm if you just want to add some body.**I suggest once you get good at getting the curler to accept your hair that you play with the various settings until you get the curls/waves/body you are looking for.**On high @ 12 seconds I get a tight curl, on Low @ 8 seconds I get nice loose curl, there is also a 10 second setting which gives you 6 settings. I sometimes use 2, and 3 settings on the same style.***I also enjoy using it to add just a couple curls here and there with my natural wave.*** I strongly suggest having hair clips of some type on hand for separating out the hair. I use both alligator clips like at the salon, and regular hair clips of a small size so that I can separate out all my hair ahead of time.**You can expect curls that will last for days (We had call to travel cross country on a family emergency that required we drive through both ways without stopping).**The most difficult part of learning to use this is holding it upside down, or being able to use both hands equally, because you can only feed your hair in from the side marked " Position this side towards head".Even though all of this must sound so complicated it is surprisingly easy!!It's explaining it that's difficult! Lol! Like explaining to someone how to peel an orange, ad pit the seeds. Hahaha! :P********I DO recommend this curler!!*******It is so worth the money! Especially for someone like me, let alone for someone who has lots of energy, and wants to save some time & effort! ^.^Too bad I can not give 6 stars for being so innovative, and giving me back part of my life! :)
