Spyder Men's Dare Athletic Fit Pant

I love the basic design of these pants (great pockets with numerous clever design features), and the material choices are top notch, with very good construction. They cover a broad temperature range, with a very comfortable feel. My only complaint is with the sizing options. Spyder tries to accommodate too many sizes with one pant. In my case I'm stuck between a large and a medium (34-35 waist), with a large being too large. In the end I bought a medium for my 34-35 waist. The medium for me is actually a very good fit, but without much room for expansion, so I'll be motivated to keep my weight down. Fortunately, these are warm enough that I don't need any heavy duty long johns underneath. But I do wish Spyder would make a medium large, or at at minimum improve the stretch belt that is used to adjust the sizing. It's just too wimpy, so the pants fit great if you are on the upper end of the sizing, as I am with the medium, but just too loose if you are on the smaller end of the range, as I am with the large.

These are great ski pants! I have been skiing for over 45 years, and the quality of these pants is as good or better than any I have bought in all of those years. I got the red color, and it is ture to the Amazon web site. The finish of the pants has a quality feel; a little like there is a coating of pliable rubber applied, and in a good way. The pants are very comfortable and allow lots of movement without binding, they will do very nicely in the moguls I think.I have not skied in the yet... That will come with my trip to Colorado a little later this winter. I can't wait to try these pants out on the slope!

Got the Med./Regular. Little tight in the waist/hips and I am slim, 33 waist, am 5'11" tall, 32 inseam, so very standard and common size. Adjustable waist is towards the maximum opened. Large would be too long? Overall very nice product, looks like its built to last. We'll see.

they fit really baggy in XL and I'm 6'3" 235. L is too small. Order the "tailored" fit if you can if you're on the bigger side and need XL.

I'm 5'5', 136 lbs and these pants fit well. Great material and look.

A huge flaw for this otherwise perfect ski pant - no top side zips. All pants with suspenders need them, Spyder..

Purchased these to coordinate with the Spyder Pinnacle Jacket. The fit was good with enough flexibility to accommodate additional base layers, and had plenty of room for movement.

The pants fit well and kept me warm and dry while skiing. The color is a challenge to match, but it is different
