I love these! Perfect for English paper piecing.
I love these! I struggle using thimbles and I have tried a lot . Never can find one that fits my finger, can keep on my finger or find one that is comfortable. I can place the dot in the exact spot that I need it. These are reusable and I can get use from one for about a week , depending how many times I have to remove it. The backing is VERY sticky and they do not move once applied, but are easy to remove when needed. They are about as thick as a compact piece of felt and I have never had a needle eye pierce through the dot into my finger. These have been a great purchase.

Goodbye thimble!
I've struggled with thimbles and finding one that was comfortable, didn't squeeze my finger, and allowed ease of sewing without tiring my hand and fingers. I recently saw a quilting video and she recommended these so I bought a package. Just tried one on my finger. Oh my! Fantastic! Sticks and doesn't slip, I can place it exactly where I need to, very comfortable, and works great. Goodbye thimbles. I'm sticking with these.

A must have for hand sewing!
I was really skeptical about these, but needed to do something to save my fingers. I don't like using a thimble because they are just too big and clunky when doing detailed hand sewing. I had literally poked a hole in my finger from repeatedly pushing needles before finding these. They are very sticky, definitely reusable for a few rounds of sewing, and 100% protect my fingers. They are surprisingly strong, and after a few minutes I forget I'm wearing them. I'll be buying more for sure!

Helpful for Hand Sewing
I do a lot of hand quilting and piece work and these really help to protect my fingers. I do find that they tend to slip a bit after long hours of use. To prevent this, I bought some of the 1" wide self adhesive bandages (sold on Amazon) and wrap a bit of that around the little leather dots to hold them in place. Works like a charm!

Helpful Little Accessory for Beginner Needlepointers
These Colonial Needle leather thimble pads are very helpful for new needlepointers because they give extra protection to your finger without the bulk of a traditional thimble. They make it more comfortable to push the needle through canvas or thicker fibers, which can make learning needlepoint feel easier and less intimidating for beginners.

My favorite thimble
They work well. They stay on, do not get in the way. They are so comfortable that I forget that I'm wearing one. They are reusable as advertised. My sterling silver thimble from Tiffany now sits on shelf for display only.

Stickiness is not long-lasting when knitting
Not great for knitting; I think these would work much better for fine needlework. I found they tend to slide after awhile, and get dirty very quickly (I was using wool yarn, so fibers definitely stick.) They do not feel like leather, more like a felt dot, and I find band-aids work better to prevent the callus I get. Not worth the price, the ones I used for a few hours are really not reusable. They are shredded and dirty, with very little adhesive left.

They work!
These pads work exactly as they say they will. They stay put, and you do forget that they are there. They save my fingers from being poked and help with gripping the needle. I am still using the same first to pads and I can work more quickly now.

Protège bien le doigt quand on ne supporte pas un dé à coudre...

Para alguien que no se siente cómodo con los dedales al uso, son lo ideal. Los volveré a comprar sin dudarlo.

Brilliant product. I tried the plastic version but the needle just slid off. This leather circle sticks firmly on your finger. The needle doesn't slip off and makes sewing so much easier. For anyone who hand sews regularly and for long periods this is a brilliant alternative to a thimble. It doesn't get in the way and stays secure, can't recommend this thimble pad highly enough. It's worth the money and ends that painful hole in your finger. Small update - yes you really can stick, remove and restick several times and it still stays secure.
