I purchased this Amazon Basics USB-C to USB-A cable primarily for use in my car with Apple Carplay, and it has been fantastic. I get a solid connection every time, with no unexpected disconnections like I experienced with cheaper cables. It also feels very robust — the braided nylon gives it a durability that surpasses the average cable, and it has shown no signs of wear even after weeks of daily usage. The data transfer speeds are impressive when I connect it to my external SSD, and charging is completely reliable for both my phone and tablet. Just a quick note — it’s not designed for ultra-fast laptop charging (like 60W+), but it works wonderfully for phones, tablets, and general use. The length is perfect for my setup — not too long, not too short — and it coils up nicely without getting tangled. All in all, it’s reliable, sturdy, and feels like it will last a long time. Definitely worth the money for the quality.

I bought this recently to replace a worn out cable and it’s been working flawlessly so far. The build quality is better than expected and the double braided nylon gives it a solid, durable feel, and it doesn't tangle easily or kink even when stuffed into a backpack or drawer. The connection is snug on both ends. No looseness or random disconnects like I’ve had with some cheaper cables. It handles data transfer without any issues, fast and stable, and charges my devices at a decent speed. I've been using it mostly to charge as well as to transfer files from a USB-C phone to a laptop, and it performs reliably in both situations. I found the 0.9m length is just right for desktop use. It’s not too long that it gets messy, but still enough to reach comfortably from a phone or a second laptop port without stretching. The dark grey colour also looks clean and subtle, not flashy or cheap. Overall, it’s a well-made, no-nonsense cable that does exactly what it’s supposed to. Very well made cable, but the embossed end where the brand name is printed is very thick and quite often, covers or housings of cameras/phone mean that the cable will not stay plugged in. Tapering the housing, if the deign was ever modified would really help. No complaints otherwise - great for charging and data connection otherwise, just be sure its connected.

Let's get the important stuff out of the way first; whenever you buy any type of cable with the Amazon Basics brand you can be 100% confident that the cable you receive will be fully compliant with everything listed in the product description. With Basics you get no falsely advertised speeds, versions or any other spec that is commonly used these days in order to make an inferior product sound better than it is. These cables in particular are fully compliant with USB-IF and guaranteed to deliver the advertised specs. This is a premium cloth braided cable which in my opinion are far better than rubber cables. Connections are all tight and sturdy which has been an issue with many other Micro USB cables that feel sloppy and loose in the port. Another incredibly small but extremely useful feature of the cable is the small velcro strap which is great if like me you want to adjust the cable to your perfect length and loop the slack to prevent it from going everywhere. There are a lot of poor quality, falsely advertised cables out there, iv been caught out many times before however, since discovering Amazon's Basic range and seeing the high levels of quality control and compliance, I will never buy another brand of cable again, even including extremely expensive "premium" brands which really offer nothing more premium than the fact they are a trusted, compliant brand.... Exactly the same as the Basics brand but at a tenth of the price. Several length and colour options are also available which is a nice touch too. If your looking for this particular type of lead then look no further.

I'm a big fan of Amazon Basics IF what I may need is available at a better price with A. Basics, with no sacrifice in quality vs a more expensive brand name. I saw some PRETTIER USB Type-C to Type-A 3.1 wires from no name overseas companies but I didn't trust those. Amazon needs to keep a great reputation so you know they are not gonna sell you JUNK, and put their name in it. This Amazon USB Type-C to Type-A 3.1 had the exact specifications I wanted and it seems to be very high quality...and actually lol, is attractive in silver, for a WIRE. Very happy with the quality vs the price point. You can trust Amazon over those no name wires I feel...Great purchase..works GREAT.

Cable USB 3.1 con conector USB-A a USB-C. Perfecto para conectar la torre al concentrador de puertos del monitor. De serie venia un cable de tan solo 1m y era imposible conectarlos ya que es muy corto (Mal por Dell por incluir un cable DisplayPort de 1.8m pero uno USB de 1m). Sin embargo, con este cable de 1.8m no ha habido problema. El cable funciona perfecto, la calidad es más que buena y no he notado perdidas de velocidad.

Works great with oculus quest no problems what so ever which is really the reason I got it. I was surprised with how decent this cable is, I took a gamble and am very happy, it's thick and strong whilst staying fairly flexible. I would recommend getting a right angle usb-c adapter to reduce the pressure on the quests headset usb connector. Other than that it arrived super quick from US to AU within a week and more than a week early, impressive! Amazon, you've done it again! TYSM

I have learned that any braided nylon cord made by AmazonBasics are worth their weight in gold. I use these in our home, in shared areas within our home, at work where everyone borrows it and in our vehicles. Since discovering the AmazonBasics brand of charging cords, I have yet to replace one. They last longer than the standard cords and I have not had any separation issues at the base. Purchased a dual iPhone/ android and it broke in weeks, this cord has not. They charge quickly. I don't know why a good quality charging cord has made such a difference but man, I am so happy I found these. Bought a set for each of the teenage children in my life for Christmas and they couldn't even break them. Great purchase. Approved by Apple (I have purchased iPhone and Samsung versions). Peace of mind when using power that they are rated and approved by the company.
