KitchenAid Sifter and Scale 5KSMSFTA Attachment for Stand Mixer

I've wanted this attachment for ages but couldn't justify the money. With this on offer I thought why not and am so glad I bought it. The quality of the dough after using this attachment to sieve the flour is unbelievable, so much better than before, Yes I know you can use a normal sieve but the flour goes everywhere, this attachment solves all of that plus you can use the scale on its own as well as without the sieve so its win win all round. One bit of advice is - take a picture of how it is packed in the box as it took me ages to get it back in again for storage. At this price you can't lose.

Easy to use. Saves time. You just bolt it on and it goes straight in the bowl

Great item but you may need to be tall to use. With it all fully assembled my wife had a little trouble reading the scales whilst on the kitchen worktop. Basically you pour you ingredients into the top bowl. It measures weight as your pouring the flour etc in. Then it drops under the scale to the sifting part which sifts as you mix in the main bowl. Either use a little step or mix on a table or be taller.

The product was a xmas present, product has been delivered WITHOUT outer packaging, recipient has seen what it is 2 weeks before Xmas, very disappointed- no common sense really

I saw this and received it as a gift from Hubby and daughter for Mothers Day. After a bit of faffing about I got it attached and was off.. Quite expensive, but then it is a Kitchen Aid product. Works well and the scale can be used freestanding. I wanted it for Icing sugar as its a bit of a pain sieving and weighing it for butter icing, and as long as you remove the mixing blade it does a good job. If you leave the blade in it takes ages as you have to have it on slow speed so as not to cover the kitchen in icing sugar.. Is it worth it? It's a gadget, so for me yes.. You could get the same results weighing and sieving in a separate bowl for a lot less outlay.

Accessorio molto utile e versatile poiché i singoli elementi possono anche essere usati separatamente. La bilancia, ad esempio, funziona anche da sola utilizzando come piatto il coperchio della ciotola o in alternativa utilizzando la ciotola stessa per pesare. Il setaccio funziona molto bene e, cosa molto utile, é dotato di una levetta con cui lo si può aprire/chiudere a seconda della quantità di farina o di altri ingrediente che mano a mano si vuole aggiungere. Tutto facilissimo da pulire (nelle istruzioni viene indicato che può andare tutto in lavastoviglie tranne ovviamente la bilancia) e da montare. Utile per molte ricette, soprattutto per i dolci. Acquisto consigliato al 100%, dell’efficienza di Amazon non è neanche necessario parlare.

Kitchenaid stand mikser aldığımda hanımı memnun etmek adına aksesuarları da eksiksiz olsun istedim. Aldığım en pahalı aksesuar buydu ve bir tek bunu işlevsel anlamda kullanamadım. Şu ana kadar keşfedemediğim bir faydası varsa bilemiyorum ama muhtemelen alan herkes verdiği paraya kıyasla son derece yetersiz bulacaktır. Paranızı çöpe atmayın...

Accessoire testé et adopté pour un usage régulier en pâtisserie. La balance est précise au gramme près et le tamis fait parfaitement son travail : la farine est bien aérée, ce qui améliore nettement la texture des gâteaux. Le gros avantage : on peut tamiser et peser directement dans le bol du robot, ce qui évite de multiplier les contenants et fait gagner beaucoup de temps, pour ma situation par exemple de handicap ça me facilite le travail et rend la pâtisserie moins difficile physiquement. Petit bémol : l’ensemble prend de la place, et il faut bien penser à retirer les pièces avant de relever la tête du robot pour éviter de tout faire tomber. Une fois qu'on a compris comment démonter le tamis, l'entretien est simple. Un excellent complément pour les utilisateurs exigeants du robot KitchenAid, lors de promotion le prix est abordable par contre le prix conseillé de 180 € me semble un peu excessif ASTUCE : Pour celles et ceux qui galèrent au début, oui le tamis se retire (je l’ai découvert par hasard). Une fois ce petit détail compris, l’entretien devient beaucoup plus simple, et l'utilisation aussi car parfois on utilise des ingrédients qui n’ont pas besoin d’être tamiser d’autant plus qu’il fonctionne en continue quand il est en place et que le robot est en route.
