What is the little plastic thing with teeth for - it came with the broom?

It was described by another seller as a scraping dust tool, I suppose to clean the mop head. I just clipped mine onto the handle just in case I ever needed it. I hope that helps!

I curious the 2 different cloths that came with it does it matter which one you use for mopping or dusting ?
