These couplers don’t like plugs with copper wire core.
These couplers are ok with plugs that have pointed central conductor, but struggle with those that don’t, ie plugs with copper wire central core. The wire just bends unless fashioned to a point.

Perfect for joining coax cable.I use these most days so for me it’s a no brainer.
