Where are these made?

They are made in the United States, specifically, Illinois.

Is it microwave safe? I’m thinking of using it for syrup...

It can be used & heated in the microwave. As with most soft/low density polyethylene products, microwaving it for more than 60-120 seconds would be the max at one time. We use these squeeze bottles at our vet hospital to hold 70% Isopropyl Alcohol Liquid. They have been very durable for that use as well as others in our hospital. I feel confident to say that it will do great as a syrup bottle & will not melt in the microwave if cooking for an appropriate time. Enjoy!

Are they dishwasher safe?

Do not know, there is no indication on Packaging that they are dishwasher safe, so I wash them by hand.

do they have closing lids?

No. They have a screw on lid with a hole. No caps. These are very heavy duty squeezable plastic. Great for food service. Easy to cut the top to make the hole larger for using with thicker liquids like caramel sauce for instance.
