I cannot confirm the legitimacy of this advertisement, does the rainbow rose really come in seed form?

Roses cannot be propagated through seed. Seed do happen but each seed would be a different rose no matter how similar they look. For example a rose like "Peace" can be propogated by rooting a cutting or by grafting a cutting on a different rose base that already has a strong root system.

Rooting a cutting will take 2 or three years before it is ready to sell commercially where as a Rose cutting that is grafted to the root system of another rose (typically one that grows faster, stronger, has high disease resistence and great plant habit etc would be used) A grafted cutting would have a greater tendency to break its graft and grow from the root crop but is ready to sell commercially in 12 to 18 months.

However no matter how awesome our God is there are NO ROSES in this color or in rainbow or true to ny pic offered as seed... AND these bright greens and neons and blues and blacks and rainbow colors are NOT (scientifically, genetically or gestationally) POSSIBLE in the Rose HYBRIDIZATION CIRCLES today or 90 to 95% unlikely in the near or even distant future. It would cost thousand or even hundreds of thousands to buy the first realease of such a rose as the one that is a rainbow or the one that is pure black or blue.

Its more amazing folks actually buy these then the fact someone actually sells them!. Roses do not propagate from seed... I thought it was common knowledge.. they grow from seed but they are not the same rose. These seeds are not what is pictured and that is a fact even before growing them. Likely all the ones growing in the reviews showing baby rose plants are wild roses that naturally self seed so they can multiply... Hence the latin "Rosa multiflora"

This seller knows he can claim seeds were not planted right, buyer didn't read the listing right, seeds were not shipped right or a mountain of other liability realeasing excuses. This seller can live with himself cause its not a big cost to you so would not expect any retaliation. This seller also figures he/she will never see you or meet you or have to deal with your dissatisfaction if he doesn't want to. When things get difficult he just closes his/her amazon account and opens another with a new allias and starts all over again... LOL What a joke.. Would be more trouble then its worth if you as ask me.

will the roses naturally grow with those colors or will I have to dye the pedals?

Is it a rip off.

COMPLETE RIP OFF! They probably are not small rocks as someone suggested but real roses are hard to grow. Regardless, you will never get roses looking like the picture because it is impossible to do so. The photos shown are of cut flowers that have been dyed. The roses shown are also hybrid tea roses (probably white) and these are always grafted, never grown from seed. If you get any at all to grow, all you will get is some nice wild rose rootstock to graft other roses onto.
