Shipping method may be a problem for some.
Arrived fast, undamaged and in full working condition, no programming neccessary, so far I love it and just wish my tuft and needle mint mattress would hurry up and get here so I can enjoy it better on a (hopefully) more comfortable mattress. Had to run out and buy AAA batteries though for the remote. If you like to store stuff under your bed, set the legs to their maximum height and you'll be able to get an underthebed storage tote under it. I have two and they haven't gotten in the way of any of the workings. This IS a wall hugger but if you are putting a headboard on this the headboard brackets (not included) will push the bed out at least a couple inches from the wall and then again whatever the thickness of your headboard is, so take that into account with the placement of your nightstand. It should be noted that this bed comes fully assembled except for the legs which just screw in and unlike other adjustable beds I checked out it is not shipped folded in half. I got a full and it weighed about 140 pounds.I actually received this much sooner than I was expecting to, I ordered it on Tuesday and received it on Thursday but it wasn't supposed to be here until the following week. Surprise!I did not get the white glove delivery so it may have changed the method of delivery but I do not know, and I do not know if it is always FedEx who delivers (in the case of non-white glove delivery) or if it depends on your area. I had no problem with FedEx or the driver. BUT they delivered it on an 18 wheeler. I had no idea it would be delivered that way until the FedEx dispatcher called me and informed me it was going out on the truck and would I be home because it required a signature. I live on a one lane gravel road that loops with lots of trees along it and no where for him to turn around and even if he'd been able to make the turn onto the road which I doubt he wouldn't have been able to get down my driveway or even all the through the road due to the trees at the far end. That said we had to meet him at the end of the road where it met a two laned blacktop road and had to have it laid across the top of the bed of our Avalanche. Thankfully it was a Full and not a queen or king otherwise I don't think it would have fit due to the design of the Avalanches truck bed. As it was the driver still had to find a place to turn around as that road ran straight into an Army training range (bombing and artillery) with no accessible offshoot roads before that, so he definitely wasn't getting through there.SO if accessibility is going to be an issue this is something to consider. It might be different with white glove delivery or UPS, it's possible a local delivery company may have brought it out in a furniture box truck which would not have been a problem (that was what I was expecting), but it's still possible that it would have been delivered on the 18 wheeler anyways. You will want to find out before ordering.

It's made sleeping a whole lot better!
My husband and I first experienced a Leggett and Platt adjustable base at a Sleep Number store and liked it. But the price was rather high. We found this one which is also a Leggett and Platt on Amazon for $1500 cheaper and are ABSOLUTELY satisfied with the quality. We bought the split king, so the bases are actually two twin frames and they came in two separate boxes. While heavy, they were manageable. My 5'10'' husband and my 5', daughter were able to bring them into the house with no problem. The boxes arrived in perfect condition and the parts that were separate (legs, remote, and motor) were packed well. It took more time to unpack everything and read the instructions then it did to set them up. While my husband would have been able to maneuver and set them up by himself, it was easier with two people. We purchased split king air beds online from Personal Comfort and they fit the base perfectly. The strips on the base to keep the mattress in place do a good job keeping it in place, however we also put on the foot rails as they don't get in the way or cause any problems when putting on sheets. The bedding covers them so they aren't an unsightly attachment. The motor is very quite. The adjustable movement is very smooth. The pre-programmed settings are very helpful. Both my husband I use the Zero Gravity setting just about every night and the Flat button in the morning to return the bed to "bed-making" position. Haven't really figured how to use the programming memory button, but haven't really needed to. Really like the wall hugging feature but haven't really used the bed in that position except to see how it works. It does allow for better access to the night stand than if the head just moved higher. The light under the bed is just the right brightness and a nice touch. I wish the remote lite up before a button was pushed as when I pick up the remote in the middle of the night to change positions (I'm both a back sleeper and a side sleeper), I never know in what position I'm picking up the remote. I usually go for the place where the light button should be so the light comes on but it doesn't bother my husband. We haven't really used the massage. It can be rather loud at the highest setting. My sister-in-law tried it out and she was oohing and aahing. As a matter of fact, after showing the bed to her and all the features, she was ready to go buy one as well. The biggest issue I have with the slip king set-up is changing the sheets. It is two twin beds pushed next to each other. So the beds need to be moved apart each time. They are fairly easy to move although they don't really have a grasping place. I plan to put leg coasters under them the next time we move them to see if it easier than trying to find the right place to grab hold of. All in all, LOVE this adjustable base. I have recommended it over and over again to many people and will continue to do so.
