Oregon 42-031 Spark Tester

I work on golf cart sometimes, small engines every now and then. Very handy tool to have and it saves me a lot of time.I looked and looked every where for one of these and only found one here on Amazon!!!!! Amazing !!! I love this tool so much , it makes me want to work on something every day!!.

Reduces the chance of getting zapped. Made well. Fits all spark plugs. A must for engine spark problems. Great diagnosis tool.

Finally, I don't have to have a second person holding their hand over the tip of the spark plug trying to create enough shade to see if it is sparking. This is easy to use and easy to see. Even in direct sunlight. I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend this item.

This inline tester is great for troubleshoot the ignition coil of snowblower, lawn mower etc. It connects to the spark plug and spark plug boot very tight and the indicator bulb is bright too. I could see the orange color light in daytime when starting the snowblower.

This spark tester works better than the dollar store special I had before. The viewable area is much better and it snaps into place and stays in place better.

Took second to know if your ignition system has spark ( old ignition or small engine..)So easy to use

Some small motors use quite a weak spark as their ignition system. Most automobile or even 10 hp motors use a considerably stronger spark. I bought this unit for my weakest spark ignition system to check if it was working ok and it did the job. It told me there was juice getting to the spark plug. My several other testers would not light up at all. So this tester was helpful for me.
