Black Crab Tide Clock

Fun clock, works well. Fits the decor of the beach house perfectly. Seems accurate. I use it to decide when to go kayaking, because I want to leave 2 hours before high tide so I don't get stuck on the way back.

I put this clock up a month ago while waiting for the peak full moon to install the battery at the time tide was peaking high. Too early to tell how accurate it will be for the long haul but so far so good. Very nice art work and set up to easily figure where the tide is at. I would have given this tide clock a five star but it is a loud clock as it ticks. I would plan on installing it in a spot where it's movement sound won't be a nuisance.

If you fish,swim and or clam this is the key for fun and success. Believe it!!

I do a lot of boating and reference tide schedules quite a bit. Thought this would be a nice decoration and easy reference. I was happy to see this with the SC logo and immediately bought it. However, once received, was not impressed with the quality. Seems like a $10 walmart wall clock that has a a different paper face. Not what I expected for that price.

A couple months ago we bought this tide clock and put it in our vacation rental next to a tidal river. It's working great.I saw a review where it was considered an inconvenience to set it at the high tide during the full Moon... That's not a fault of the manufacturer, it's due to the way the Sun and Moon behave.My guess is that the manufacturer gave those instructions because that is in fact the LEAST complicated way of setting it. If you don't mind doing some high school math, and have a tide chart for your exact location, you can set a tide clock at any tide.The length of time between real-life tides varies as the month progresses, but tide clocks complete a cycle that is the AVERAGE length of a real-life tide. For 99% of us, the small discrepancy doesn't matter at all.

Ordered this for my parents and upon receiving realized it was made of very cheap light plastic. I returned with no problem.

Everything I wanted for my ocean front condo on the Atlantic. Guests really like it, too. Highly recommended. I wanted a clock that had a nautical scene. The lighthouse is perfect. It is a "realistic copy" of original art by a well-known nautical artist. The clock and picture: quality. P.S. And this clock doesn't tic-tic-tic ….. instead. nice and quiet.

Bought it for a Father’s Day gift for my Dad who likes to check the surf. Now he just needs to glance at the tide clock before he heads to the beach. When I ordered it I was disappointed it wasn’t going to arrive until June 29 up until the first week of July . To my delight And relief it arrived June 20th the day before Father’s Day! I couldn’t of been happier and my Dad liked his gift !
