So pretty and a unique piece. I bought one for each of my children for their homes. It works great and adds a lovely look on the wall.

Very nice quality. I gave as a gift and the recipient was really pleased. It looks great hanging on her wall.

I use about 50% sterile water and 50% alcohol to keep it fresh with some food coloring. I chose this one for the backing plate. It makes it look so much better very classy.

Wife and I saw one of these while on vacation in the Caribbean. The inn keepers have it hanging on the wall near the outdoor dining area. I was fascinated by it. It’s beautiful, functional, with old world charm. Shortly after we got home I started searching online for it, lo and behold here it is on Amazon. I ordered it immediately. It just arrived today and we are so pleased. It is exactly like the one we saw on vacation! The cast iron is heavy. Well made. The glass is gorgeous and very delicate — almost weightless in your hand. We have it hanging on our back patio. Looking forward to seeing it react to the changing weather here in the SC Lowcountry. Edit: a followup edit after owning this for several months. We still love it and it’s a great conversation piece on our screened-in porch. It’s beautiful. I do have a complaint but I have a feeling this is user error. It seems to react more to temperature swings than it does barometric pressure. For example, in the morning the fluid will be low, but by the afternoon it will rise and spill out. This occurs every day, regardless of rain, to the extent that after a few days it is practically empty and I need to add more water. So, I am thinking, maybe this shouldn’t be located outdoors? Maybe it should be inside where the temperature is fairly constant?

This would have been a five star review if the dye pack hadn't been dried out and unusable. The barometer holder is quite nice. It is moderately heavy and stays still even in the Nebraska wind. The glass barometer feels sturdy too. It's taken a few 80mph winds and stayed on the side of my home. The setup was easy. I noticed a few people struggled in the reviews. There are several YT videos and instructions on the internet on how to fill these barometers so they work. It isn't hard and only takes about 5 minutes. It seems to be a fairly accurate, visual mini weather system the size is definitely large enough that you don't need to put your nose right up to it. It is the style I was looking for and quite pretty. If you are gift shopping this would be a very nice gift to purchase for someone as long as you threw in a box of food coloring to match their decor.

This gorgeous barometer works amazingly well. This is THE most accurate weather station ever. I can tell within hours when the rain will come despite blue skies and few clouds. Works EVERY time. My neighbor didn't believe me when I told him it was going to rain. He asked me how I knew this and I told him my barometer indicates rain. When it rained later in the day he was convinced. Not only is it functional but it is beautiful. I use blue food coloring and distilled water (as it doesn't get green and icky)

It arrived unbroken. We love it. It is beautiful and helps me see barometric changes that affect my migraines. Please understand that this is a barometer. It shows you the barometric pressure, which does affect weather, but it does not supernaturally predict the weather. It has been fun to watch the correlation. Low pressure often brings wind or precipitation, but the last few days we have had high pressure trapping down low lying, drizzling clouds. Filling it was super easy. It came with a syringe. It will kind of self adjust the water level buy overflowing a bit in low pressure, or letting an air bubble in if high air pressure pushes the water level all the way down the spout, so don't be too fussy about filling it. I filled mine when the barometric pressure was about 30.0 up to the widest part of the glass and let it self adjust from there.

Reviewing strictly on aesthetic at this point - this was a must buy because of my atypical migraines. Hoping it works but it looks beautiful in my home.

Funciona perfectamente. Detecta los cambios de presión de una forma muy curiosa. No tiene instrucciones de llenado. La jeringa es muy práctica, pero se agradecería alguna indicación de la cantidad de líquido. Siguiendo indicaciones ajenas, lo pusimos en horizontal sobre la espalda plana y lo llenamos hasta que el agua (destilada) llegó hasta los dos “picos” de los extremos de la botella. Resulta la cantidad perfecta de agua para que al colgarlo, el pitorro se llene de suficiente líquido como para apreciar las fluctuaciones por las diferencias de presión. El tinte en polvo es sumamente concentrado. Con una cantidad similar a una cabecilla de alfiler es suficiente para teñirlo. Atención al paquetito donde vienen el tornillo, la tuerca (del que se cuelga la botella de cristal) y la bolsita del tinte, porque vienen envueltos en un papelillo que es fácil tirar en un descuido. Están en la cazoleta de la base de forja. Resumiendo, es un artículo que perfectamente sirve para regalar y quedar bien. Es muy original, estético y puede resultar practico. Recomendado para compra.

Non l'ho ancora usato ma si presenta davvero ben fatto e di gran stile. La base è di ghisa, ed insieme al barometro viene fornito anche il colorante e la siringa per dosare e riempire il vaso.

Wat een leuk product. Om zelf te hebben of cadeau te doen. Leuker dan een digitale barometer. Slecht weer is snel zichtbaar. Een aanrader.

Très joli objet. La précision n'est forcément pas au top, mais ce n'est pas ce qu'on attend de ce type d'objet. A l'air relativement fragile mais arrive dans un emballage de bonne qualité et semble bien tenir dans le temps malgré tout

Mum loves it, she checks it throughout the day and is thoroughly enjoying having it and learning all the weather ins and outs, plus it’s gorgeous to look at. Worth noting that the colour powder or whatever that came with it was rather lacking colour (first pic) so Mum added a couple of drops of food colouring as per their suggestion to get the desired colour (second pic).
