I bought this for my astronomy class as a team builder. It has been fun watching who is meticulously assembling it and who is getting frustrated while trying. They are discussing which planets have rings-or moons-or are gas giants, etc. so it definitely has piqued their interest. We hope to hang it when we are done.

My 7 yo daughter and I spent a whole afternoon putting this together and it was so fun. She was explaining the solar system to me while we spent time on this so she could prepare for her school project. It came out great.

We really like the product. It was a gift to may son (7 years old) that loves the universe. He patiently, carefully and with a little help not to mistreat the pieces, was very happy to assemble his puzzle¡¡¡

Very finicky to put together but my son loves anything with planets and he thought it was pretty cool. Currently it is floating around our living room and getting bumped and planets keep falling off so not sure how long it will last. Kind of awkward to display and not able to disassemble and make again.

This was a fun puzzle to put together and my 8 year old did the base on his own. However, putting the planets together was difficult. They don't look as good as on the picture once put together, and it's hard to hold them together. I'm thinking of gluing them, but not sure what glue to use. Overall, I think they had a fun idea, but because I feel like something like this should sell for $10, not $30. Plus, there's not much you can do with the puzzle once it's all put together besides displaying it.

My 6 year old grandson is ALL ABOUT the solar system. This purchase is one of his ‘best’ Christmas presents from us. He’s going to love it! We’re excited to see him open it.

We purchased this puzzle for our 7-year old granddaughter, who is very interested in space. The puzzle arrives with the pieces in big sheets, needing to be "punched out." My granddaughter did this, and then had a big pile of pieces -- as would be expected for a puzzle. Except: the only instructions are a set of images showing which parts (by number) are needed to assemble each planet. It would be almost impossible to assemble the planets without these instructions, but the piece numbers (which seem random in terms of assembly sequence...?) are printed on the sheets, NOT on the pieces. Now, trying to identify the required piece by size and shape (many of which look alike) is almost impossible. Nowhere are there printed instructions directing you to only remove the pieces from the sheet that are required in the next step. Without these instructions and without numbers printed on each piece, assembly is almost hopeless. My granddaughter is in tears. We are sending it back.

Easy to put together; looks great for my sons school solar system project!
