Thanks to the Heavy Duty - EasyLift Outboard MotorTote & a 2-ton shop crane, I can lift my 116lbs Tohastu 20HP easily & place it on a outboard stand. I hope this tool can last long.

Sturdy and will last a long time
This is a beefy item that is plenty strong for small outboards. Due to the size of the webbing you will need to completely take apart the connections to weave it through the outboard (10hp or smaller). It is complicated but only took about 15 minutes to sort out. The extra safety strap is definitely needed for newer outboards and does its job well to balance the outboard during lifting.

Really great lifting straps
I have a newer 20 hp Yamaha four stroke outboard motor and after him just in the straps for a few minutes it works like a champ. I use an electric winch from Harbor freight and it lifts that motor off the boat like it weighs nothing. The straps are real snug and secure and the safety strap does fit through the loops without taking the straps all the way off the buckles so try that first. I’ll do an update in six months.

Works for 2011 Honda 9.9hp
Wasn't sure this would work as the cover is somewhat rounded. However, with the additional side strap provided I picked it up easily with my main halyard. I'm very satisfied with the product. I did order the heavy duty version which is good for outboards up to 35 HP.

Worked great on a 2020 Yamaha 25hp
This worked great on a 25hp Yamaha. The extra strap locked the 2 main straps together nicely so they wouldn't spread apart.

2015 Yamaha 9.9 does not fit
The powerhead on the Yamaha 9.9, at least the 2015 version, will not reliably stay in the harness. Also worth noting that the safety strap effectively puts strain on the connections going into the powerhead.

Easy to install. Makes lifting a boat motor easy.

If you have a 4 stroke motor it will not fit my 25hp motor
