ok so if you don't have to travel then get the hard float; but this will work great for traveling and it can be used to store some things when deflated. so you will have to blow this up manually and I recommend doing it before u get to the beach/boat. or your day will be winded and super short. if it was easier to blow up I woulda gave it 4 maybe 5 stars
