Best. Scraper. Ever.
We've been using this tool daily for the last week of Pacific Northwest snow and ice, and it has performed like a champ. It feels extremely rugged and well made, and I expect it to last a long time. The big brush can be turned parallel or perpendicular to the handle, so it's good for both sideways sweeping on windows and lower hoods, and for pushing or pulling snow off the roof and high hoods and windshields. The handle extends to multiple lengths for reaching across those really huge pickups and SUVs, and the locking mechanism feels very precise and reliable. The ice scraper is a beast, and combined with the sturdy handle it clears ice from the entire windshield quickly and easily. We haven't had any need for the squeegee, and I can't even really imagine when I would want it -- maybe when I wash the car in summer? -- but it feels like good quality if you have a need for that. The only "problem" is that this is a big tool, not the kind of thing you can stick in your door's storage pocket. It's the kind of thing you stash in the trunk, or keep on the porch to clean the car in the morning. Bottom line: I expect to be using this for years, and probably buying another one or two so I can have one in every trunk.

Love it
Very nice, it’s very sturdier and cleans snow very good

The Best Ice Scraper I’ve Ever Had, By Far!
By far the best ice scraper I’ve ever had. The scraper is wide and cuts through ice like a hot butter knife. I can extend and collapse the length with a large, easy-to-press button, so I can start short, go long, go short to accommodate the scraping area with zero twisting and zero effort. I can squeegee off the shavings and get clean glass. The brush is industrial strength and people say it lasts forever without the ends fraying. It’s got a super-comfortable grip and is sturdy as hell, but lightweight. If there is such a thing as a professional ice scraper, this is it.

Get rid of that pesky snow/ice off your car/truck/helicopter? Who knows! But this brush/scraper is the one to get!
So I got this because I live in a state that is cold at least half of the year with lots of snow most years. I looked for one that has not only a brush, but a scraper, and a rubber squeegee. My mom has a similar kind of one but it has no swivels or anything so its even more cumbersome. This one however is pretty cool, one of the best iv found. It has a swivel on it where the brush/squeegee is which allows you to have it either flat like it is in the picture or rotated from either 0, 45, 90, 145, and 180 degrees and locked in those positions when letting go of the button. Which makes cleaning off a windshield, back window, or any other windows for that matter easier. The scraper is just like most scrapers a side for really rough ice, and one that's smooth for smaller pieces. It also can extend for those very hard to reach spots (though if you really want to save time just go around to the other side of the vehicle to clean the other side but that's just me). I finally got to use it a few times already this past month and it worked like it should. I really like the fact it can swivel the brush/squeegee end so then you can have it lay flat on the ground if you want. I also really enjoyed the fact the one I got was blue (though the one in the picture I am seeing now is yellow) though it didn't really matter all that much what color it was I was just glad it works well. Pros: 1. Comes with 3 different (to be technical I guess 4) tools. Brush, Squeegee, and scraper (one for hard chunks and flat one for smaller ones) 2. It can extend 3. The brush/squeegee side can rotate from 0, 45, 90, 145, and 180 degrees and can be locked into those positions by letting go of the button. 4. Look at 3. It can lay flat on the ground unlike other/older ones. Cons: None that I can think of so far. From what iv seen from reviews and from my own experiences with it so far it seems to be a great snow/ice brush/scraper for the winter time. Hopkins did a great job and I am hoping mine lasts a long time. Hope my review helped.

Nice quality and TALL!!
We received the Hopkins snow remover and ice scraper quickly even though shipment was delayed for some unknown reason. Compared to other snow removers that we've had, this one seems to be much better quality and has two different devices to remove snow (brush and solid). It is very sturdy and has a push connector to pivot the brush, and another to extend the device to over 60". I know its more than 60" because that is my height and it's slightly taller. The extension part, even at 60+", is aluminum (I think) and feels very solid. Given that I have a SUV, this will allow me to reach the top where I've not been able to reach before. It will also allow me to push snow across my vehicle without ever having to pull towards me, which is always the case with shorter snow removers. Unfortunately, we have yet to have any snow so that I can try my new snow remover out. So my evaluation is based solely on visual quality and will be updated if necessary if it ever snows and we actually get to put it to work. Great quality and very useful for someone who is vertically challenged and/or has a large/tall vehicle or even an RV.

Nice design and very practical to use! I can reach the roof of my car much better now.
I waited until I had the chance to use this ice/snow clearing tool to review it and I have to say I'm pretty impressed! It's very sturdy, telescoping pole reaches everywhere I can't, especially the roof of my car and the far side of my Toyota Highlander windshield instead of me lurching over the hood to scrape ice. It's a bit heavy because it's so sturdy so be mindful not to drop it on your (frozen) windshield. I've lived in some cold and snowy places and this ice/snow clearer tops my list of the ones I've tried. Good quality and the ability to change the angle of the squeegee side is great.

There's nothing I don't like about this snow brush and scraper. It can be extended to reach all the way across the top of the car and basically allows you to clear the snow from your whole car. It snows a lot where I live, and the design, size, and sturdiness of the brush are all good.

I've had this sucker for a couple of months now and I don't think my car and I could live without it (lol). I have a Corolla so with this brush extended I can reach from the trunk all the way to the front of the roof (where it meets the windshield), without issue – I'm also 5'9 though, so I'm sure that helps. Ridding my poor car of snow has never been easier or faster! The bristles on the brush are quite thick so there's never much snow left behind after a swipe, the squeegee is probably the most sturdy one I've ever come across, and the scraper at the back of the brush pushes through ice like it's not even there. Having the swivel head option is great because sometimes you just need to brush off a little dusting of snow, so there's no need to open it up (which saves a step) and then when you have a mound of snow you can just open it up and breeze through it. The only negative thing I would say about it is that 'closing' the brush after you've cleaned snow, if it's quite cold outside, the brush will freeze shut in your trunk. So when you go to extend it for the next use you have to be patient and gently try to pry it open. But it's nothing that I'm sure a quick wipe-down after use won't solve (if the brush is extended at the time of use). Basically just make sure the pole isn't wet when you close the brush back up and you'll be fine. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in a snowy climate. It's also quite enjoyable knowing that I have this gigantic brush for my teeny tiny car and our family 3500 dually only has a little tiny one :P

Really like this snow brush. Three different heads so very versatile to snow or ice. Worth every penny

The product is very solid and the adjustable pivot helps a lot to get the snow at various angles. Due to the solid construction, it is quite "heavy" to use in one hand when it's fully extended and one of the handle foams actually came loose. A quick job with the glue gun and it's good as new again.

I've had this brush for 3 years (it has survived 3 Canadian winters) and it still works great! Love that it's extendable, as it helps to reach the snow that gets on the top of your car. It's easy to use and have had no issues with it.
