Police Field Operations (Always Learning) 8th Edition

Did they have an editor for this book? Grammatical errors drive me nuts and this book is filled with them. It's a bit distracting. Beyond that, it's informative for the brand new officer, although much of the information is very dated. I had to read this for a promotional exam, I wouldn't be reading it otherwise. I'm sure there are more up to date books out there covering the same topic.

Just cracked this book will be studying two months. One comment I have that im particularly annoyed with...this is a hard cover expensive school book intended for long term use and reference. I can practically aee thru these pages and fully expect a high lighter to bleed through pages. To ask the money you ask for this book and cut corners is frankly a rip off.

It is a sefl explanatory text book that goes very well with the class lecture. It is well written as well as very easy to understand since it is written in an everyday language and uses day to day scenarios.

I like the book it teaches about about the Justice system and I needed for school.
