Great pen

Flawless!
I recently purchased a second hand pair of designer sandals. The only defect was that some of the gold paint/plating had worn off on a couple of the beads. So I turned to Amazon to see if there were any good solutions out there. I came across this pen and saw it worked on metal, and it was super affordable, so I decided to give it a shot. It was the perfect solution! The tip is super duper fine and I did not experience any issues with excess paint coming out. As you can see, it matched the tone of the gold perfectly. You cannot tell the difference between the painted bead and the undamaged beads. It also dried super quickly. I really can’t recommend this enough for accessory repair, or for general arts and crafts projects.

Finicky, but worth it!
It’s a little finicky. After shaking and pressing, there was some initial overflow and the inside piece actually fell out (see third pic). But I was able to set it back in and clean up the ink. After that, Amazing! Gorgeous gold coloring, not too green, yellow, or bronze. Just a perfect gold. A lot of pigment, so very opaque with a nice shine. Easy to get thinner or thicker lines, depending on the angle. It was definitely worth the initial mishap. Tip - read the directions, they really help with proper use and maintenance.

Pricey but a good marker
As long as you follow the simple instructions you should have no problems with this pen. I’ve had a few leak on me, in the beginning but not anything major. I have found if these are kept in an area with higher humidity than normal they do tend to appear dried out & unable to flow as needed. Once they are moved into a room with less humidity they will work again after a few hours. My only real complaint is the cost. Much to high for what you are getting. This is my reason for not giving 5 stars.
