What a wonderful set of nesting cookware. No compromises.
Wow these are nice! I bought them to be my cookware for a camping kitchen box where I store all of my kitchen needs in a portable cabinet that is about 2'x2'x1' with a fold down front. The stacking feature and removable handles are the reasons that this set works for my application. I didn't want to skimp on quality, and that means triple clad bottoms for all pots and pans. The clad bottoms of these pots are just as thick as any commercial clad cookware that you'd buy for your home. I had been using thin bottomed aluminum pans in my camp kitchen and I just wasn't happy with the results, very uneven heat and I had to constantly watch what I was cooking. These pots heat very evenly, which is the most important factor. I like to cook so the cost/benefit to me was worth it. These pots also compare favorably with my Meyer commercial stainless set that I use at home. In fact, in a few ways they are nicer. The transition between the walls and bottom on the insides are very gentle, it's a nice rounded profile that makes cleaning easier than with my home commercial cookware that has a sharper angle around the inside bottom rim. These pots also don't have the heavy handle rivets that make cleaning more difficult with my home set. I have moved away from non stick cookware, I now use only stainless and cast iron. To me, the fact that you can beat them up with metal utensils outweighs the easier cleaning of the non-stick coatings. And stainless pans WILL last a lot longer. The handles are good, there is just a little play when they are attached, nothing that takes away from their functionality. The locking pin means that you can turn the pans all the way over without being concerned about the handles slipping out of their tracks. This is a weak spot for some other nesting cookware sets. That's it, they are great. I feel that this set is worth every penny. They look great, perform wonderfully and should last a lifetime. Edit: I have added the colander and coated pan for eggs. They both nest into the system. Super!

Live aboard and have been using for the last 6 months
Wanted to wait a few months before writing a review. My wife and I live aboard (mostly) on our boat and use these pans on a daily basis. We are foodies and are learning how to cook on our boat and have been able to make most of our favorite dishes. Anything we haven't been able to make aren't due to the pans, but rather the limitations of a galley versus gourmet kitchen. I'll start with Cons as they are fewer: Cons: VERY heavy. Storing these pans needs some planning, lifting from behind things or if it can drop needs to be addressed. Handles are heavy and break if they fall. Handle stowage inside the pots (as shipped) isn't a good idea, they fall out all the time and they actually dented one of the pans. We stow in a drawer. Heavy, we have a glass topped electric range on our boat so it poses a risk of cracking the top if put down hard. Weight may help in heavy seas as the weight is all at the bottom. Pros: VERY nice pots to cook with. Heavy duty everyday use pans. Nice lip on the pans to keep spillage at a minimum but still have a pan (versus a pot). We also got the colander, good design and we actually boil pasta in the colander to make draining safer and easier. They hold up well to heavy use, we actually use our Kenyon electric grill to cook things like bacon and use these pans on the grill to keep the bacon grease contained and they are holding up no problem. All in all, we are very happy with this purchase. If you have an RV, Boat, or small kitchen and need space with great pans these are a good choice. The footprint that they take up is very reasonable and they clean up very easily.

Go for it!
Ok, so on Prime Day, I figured I'd order a new set of pots and pans and surprise my hubby who likes to cook with all new stuff for the kitchen. So I spent a good hour or two researching, cross checking, and finally ordered this (a T-Fal) really awesome set that got thousands of 5 star rave reviews, had like 18 pcs with it, was non-stick, induction, basically the best of the best and most expensive, except it was on Prime Day special, so was almost $200 less than normal pricing. I was happy. It showed up. Hub was NOT happy. Apparently he's been wanting a new set, BUT, it MUST have removable handles b/c our kiddo, when emptying the dishwasher, will not take the time to stack our regular handled pots properly and they end up all over the cabinets in no particular order. UGH! I wasn't even home. He made kiddo pop the set into the car and drive it right down to UPS store to be returned that very day. So... another few hours spent researching. Prime day OVER. Sales OFF. Now he wants THIS Magna set, but in non-stick. Read the reviews. NOT happy; some say they scratch and chip too easily. Plus was waaay more expensive and a much smaller set than the T-Fal. After a few days, I finally settled on this set. And boy am I a happy camper! I LOVE how they stack so neatly! I'm still not use to the sticking thing, but I'm getting there. Heating pan first is an absolute MUST DO. And use cooking oil or spray. And cleaning: I was super upset the first time I used these and could not get the stains out, after any amt of scrubbing. Researched again. Found Barkeeper's Friend. AHHHHH MAZE ING! 3 drops of that stuff on a slightly wet pan and using my Scrub Mama ever so gently, and VIOLA... TOTALLY BRAND NEW AGAIN! These pans are pretty much perfect, and I can see them lasting a LOOOONG time, as long as you care for them properly. And they remind me of the set my mama used to have back in the day, before the non-sticks ever were available. So their nostalgic too! Our only issue now: I like restacking exactly as they came, storing handles inside, using the Magna pot separators / protectors between each, and replacing the little black strap that keeps them all neatly together. Why not? But hub hates the strap and keeps throwing it in a drawer. Ha. There's always some battle of the wills, but at least it's a minor one. Like how the toilet paper should roll of the roll, and how the dishwasher is loaded. Some things are just really fun to bicker about. Keeps a marriage interesting, ya know? Summary: Great set. Highly recommend. Just buy them. NOW! (And some BKF and protectors, while you're at it)

My first stainless steel cookware!
These are 18/10 stainless steel pots and pans. I wish it has a shallower frying pan, but I will order one of those separate. The multipan use lid is tiered to fit any size. The set is heavy weight and sturdy, which I love, and the stacking feature makes it perfect for my limited easy access cabinets in my studio apartment. They appear to be of high quality. I've always used non-stick pots and pans in the past, but these are stackable and after research, I've read that those aren't healthy for you. Also, the chef's I know and shows I've seen, they all seem to use stainless steel cookware. I have an electric flat top stove that is brand new. I looked up how to cook using stainless steel, and I'm glad I did! I just made an egg scramble in it, and I'm confident with the right spatula I could flip an egg without it sticking. Here is what I did: To prevent sticking: I turned the heat to about 6 to heat the pan. I completed my prep while the pan heated. I wet my hand and tossed the water into the pan. When the water rolled across the pan and evaporated, I added a small amount of oil and spread it along the bottom of the pan. Once the oil seemed to separate a bit, I added my beaten egg mixture into the pan. At first, there was slight browning, so I turned the stove down to about 3.5. I allowed the rest to just cook. I had NO sticking, and the mix came out of the pan easily. The cleanup was super easy too as there was nothing stuck on the bottom of the pan. So far, I really like this set. I did a lot of research before I bought them. The price is right on point too.

Beautiful Pans
These pans are really quite beautiful, well made, work very well on an inductive cooktop. They nest together, and come with two handles that clip onto the pot into a bracket on the SIDE of the pot A few years ago I purchased a very similar set called Galleyware. My biggest dislike of the Galleyware set was that the handles clipped onto the top edge of the pot which caused the pot's lid to not seat correctly. Part of the lid would rest on the handle creating too big of a space between the pot and lid. We purchased a small RV and I moved the Galleryware set to the RV, and purchased this Magma set for our home base. The Magma set is a little heavier, but I love its even cooking, the way the lids set on the pots, the TWO handles, and the small storage footprint in my tiny kitchen. This set is pricey, but a great one-time investment for me and my kitchen. I believe this pan set was worth every penny.

Excellent product!
While this is a little more than I wanted to pay for a cookware set, it turns out that this is an excellent value. This isn't some flimsy set of cookware. It has some real heft to it. This is equal to some of the best cookware I have seen in the stores. The interior is smooth, and the laminated bottom is heavy enough to ensure even heat transfer for cooking. That this one is also suitable for induction cooking is why we got it. We wanted something for our new camper that could not only be used on the gas stove, but could be used on an induction cooking plate we had gotten. This way, we can use gas when we don't have AC power available and the induction cooing plate when we do. The handles are excellent. They aren't the flimsy things that fall off if you tip the pot. They lock on so you can safely invert the pot. They are solid. The only thing that could be considered a downside is that they do not store inside the set, but if they were short enough to do so, they probably would be too short to be effective as handles. The way they nest and store is great. We don't have room to store separate pots and pans. This keeps the whole set in one compact unit that tucks into the cabinet easily. One thing I found is that giving the elastic band a half-twist when putting it on helps it to stay in place better than just running it across the top. It will look like an X across the top when done this way. We also put some shelf liner between each pot and between the pots and the lids to cushion them and reduce the possibility of them getting scratched. We have not used them too much yet. However, when we used them, the cooked well and cleaned up easily. When we cooked eggs, they cooked without sticking, even though these do not have a non-stick coating (some cooking grease/oil/non-stick spray is needed for this). Given the high grade of stainless steel used, I anticipate many years of service from this set. They should be something that we pass on to our children, and they in turn to their children.

These are great for a camper!
I bought this set in 2016 and they are now in their second camper looking as good as new. The pans nest, so they save space, which I think is their greatest attribute. The stainless steel is durable and they are induction capable. I have never used the frying pan for frying as the sides are too high but it does make a great sauté pan and even as a casserole for the oven. I did use them on a camp stove and was not careful with the flame or the handle, which needed to be replaced. They are as easy to clean as any other quality stainless steel. I don't think I would use these in a home kitchen (unless very small) mainly because the types of pans are limited.

Amazing Quality - Great RV Storage Solution
Our previous RV had a pots & pans drawer - the new one unfortunately does not. I really did not know how I would be able to store our motley assortment of regular cookware. When researching RV storage ideas, Magma cookware was mentioned frequently and highly rated due to being compact and good quality. I had no idea nesting cookware like this was a thing. We decided to go with Magma and were thrilled with the quality when they arrived. These are top quality stainless steel; heavy, highly polished and very scratch resistant. They clean up perfectly and, if they do need a bit of stain removal, Barkeeper's Friend brings back the interior like new. Big bonus is that they come with two removable handles unlike most brands - I can't imagine trying to swap handles between two hot pieces of cookware. Everything stacks together perfectly, even after adding the accessory pasta insert and felt dividers. Once inside the available case (not included), everything slips under the dining bench easily. These will, I'm sure, last a very long time and would highly recommend spending the bit extra for superior quality.
