Has anyone tested this mic on Linux?

Works great-- plugs and plays (I'm using Xubuntu 20.04). Just works. Sound quality is *excellent*. I've had less success on Raspberry PI-- it was scratchy; but I suspect (given the success on Linux) that's due to the PI being under powered. Have also had problems getting it working with Zoom on the PI (works *great* with Zoom on Ubuntu)-- but, again, I suspect that's a Zoom issue, not a mic issue.

How does it handle feedback? Specifically does it pick up when peoples voices are coming out of your computer speakers?

I haven't had that issue, I have tried this in a few different set ups. The cord is long enough that you can place it away from speakers. But even at my desk, without moving anything else, this has worked fine.

Is there a way to turn on the mic without touching it when you plug it in? We want to mount it on a ceiling to avoid tripping hazard.

My experience is that the mic automatically is on once it is plugged into the USB port. I have inadvertently turned the mic off when I moved it on the table after plugging it in. I have not tried to unplug it and plug it back in to turn it on. I suspect that will work. Since it is on the table I just turn it on by touching the switch button.

What is the best way to set this mic up? I have tried and it muted the background noise well but the sound of my voice is very low.

I do not know optimum settings except to say that sometimes in the computer/laptop sound settings there are level of sound adjustments for speakers (output) and microphone (input). Make sure its turned on of course and that your computer is using it instead of its own mic which does not pick up voice real well unless right in front. I havr a fam of 4 who sit on a couch or half a table about 3-6 feet away and this mic picks up fine fine from anywhere. Hope that helps
