Wouldn't recommend
Bought these for my MG TF. Definitely easy to fit. I'm not convinced they're particularly accurate. The big problem though is that they will weld themselves to your valve threads. I just took my car into ATS to swap the wheels. The guy tried unscrewing these and they wouldn't come off. He cut the valves off and managed to get 2 off but the other 2 would not budge. It's because the metal for the thread on these is different to to metal on the thread of the valves. So they react with each other and it basically welds the 2 parts together. This is why you shouldn't put anything other than plastic valve caps on.So, either don't buy these, or make sure you undo the little monitor bits that screw onto your valves every few days to stop them binding. Or, prepare yourself for the fact that you won't be able to undo them next time you need to put air in your tyres and will need to get the valves cut off and new ones fitted.

It just works
I was expecting a bit of fiddling around but this just works out of the box. Replaced my valve caps with the four radio valve caps (making sure to get them on the right wheels) and the pressure displayed on the screen. Bingo! I was concerned about having to charge it up via the USB, but have never had to. It has a small solar panel on top and the thing turns on when it detects that the car is at rest, then turns on again with a beep when you get in.Looks very nice too, almost like part of the car.Bought because of stress caused by very slow leak (should I drop by the garage to check the pressure? no, haven't got time, but what if the pressure is too low and I crash? ... that kind of stress). Could not be more pleased with it.

TPMS review
Just tried this out, ok so the instructions are not great. Plug in a USB charger first and let it charge up, to switch on press the right hand button. Press and hold the M button for 3 seconds to customize settings. Use left and right buttons to scroll through settings, such as pressure and temperature alarm threshold settings. The pressure reported is very accurate and all tyres show simillar reading within 0.1 bar. There is a brass lock nut to screw onto tyre valves, have read some reports that the lock nut and sensor can seize on after a while, the locking washer and sensor body material is brass so is same metal as tyre valve and therefore should not seize. I cleaned the tyre valve thread with WD40 and applied some grease to the tyre thread. The tyre valve sensors are small and look simillar to others seen, and like others stick out a bit. Will see how long they last longer term. Like all these products with internal batteries, the internal battery should only be good for 12-18 months.

Neat & effective & good value.
Smart bit of kit powered by solar cells so you don’t have to worry about batteries. I dropped one star because the display could be a bit brighter - not so easy to see in bright sunlight. I installed it and switched it on and that’s it; when you leave it it switches off and when you come back to drive off it switches itself on. I took the trouble to fit short valve stems (as used on motorcycles) so that the sensors didn’t stick out beyond the wheel rim otherwise brushing a curb could rip the valve out and leave you stranded. One more detail; after a bit less than a year the batteries in the wheel sensors ran out of energy and had to be replaced.

Positive Seller Response
Subsequent to my original review complaining about the inadequate instruction manual included with this product, I have received a response from the seller. Apparently, an updated manual should have been included and I was offered a 30% reduction in the price of the unit or, if I had already returned the item, an offer to cover return postage. This seems to be a reasonable outcome-although, unfortunately, the item had already been returned.

Great product
Product arrived in good condition, was sceptical that it would work due to the low price, need not have worried, checked tyre pressures at local garage, then fitted the wheel sensors to 3.5 ton motorhome (tyre pressures 5 bar, 75 psi) it worked excellently & recorded the tyre pressures as just set, on the way home it updated the pressures & temperatures of tyres frequently, so would recommend this product, only 4 stars on easy to read section as display is a little small, but on the whole it is excellent for the price

Just got better !
This is the second one I purchased (one for each of my cars) it’s excellent very useful as I travel a lot each day, it show problems before they become serious, ie punctures on motorways.... the second one now comes in a smaller box with better instructions and improvement for the first with tiny manual. The customer care is very helpful and quick response . Thanks

So far so good and at the price...Main unit has died
I think I will be buying more of these as presents for the family. The fitting is easy as is the setup. The battery charge on the main unit lasts for sometime or at least longer than I expected.=== Uopdate July 2019 ===Main unit has died. I suspect these items need to be considered some what disposable.
