Works like it should!, Just look for your #s on your ignition should have a number on one side of the key hole and a Alpha on the other. "VERY SMALL" Mercury will have a 1 or 2 and Alpha will be A through F. So if you lose a key and are thinking you should replace your entire ignition DON'T ! Save some cash because its not like there are Millions of unique combos just those simple 1 or 2 and A-F series. Sad to know you could walk up to 1 out of 7 Mercury Boats and 1 of them will fire up with your key. so good luck fishing and stay safe out there.FYI-"Number and Alpha might be upside down when you are staring at your ignition"

I ordered this product and payed what i would have at the dealer. Roughly same amount of time to recieve which was fine and more convient. The description says that it is a 1C@2 which to me means a quanity of 2 keys. I recieved my package and there is only 1 key which looks different then the original. Apperently you need to order 2 seperate keys if you want a second where as i would have recieved a pair from the dealer. I feel the ad is misrepresented and needs to be fixed.
