WHAT I LIKE1) It's cordless and rechargeable.2) It has different color temperatures. Some LED lamps emit a bluish-white light. This one has some warmer settings. So you don't need to be exposed to bluish light at night if you don't want to. However, the warmer light is not as bright as the cool light.3) It's lightweight but stable. I had a lamp somewhat like this once which was top-heavy; it had to be weighed down with a book to keep it from falling over. The bottom of this one is heavy enough to keep it upright.4) The design lets you direct the light in whatever direction you want.5) It's dimmable. You can save the battery during a power outage by switching to a lower power (and lower light) setting.6) It does last a long time (though only on the lowest setting). On a full charge, at the lowest light, I timed it at 36 hours and it was still going strong. I'm not sure that the claim that it lasts 135 hours is accurate. I may test it someday to find out. I'll post the result here if I do.WHAT I DISLIKE1) It's not as bright as I'd like, even on its brightest setting. I'd hoped to use it for night reading, but it's not really bright enough unless you move it very close to the book, and it's awkward to try reading that way. To use it for reading at night, I'd want to buy two lamps. Maybe they could make one with twice the number of LEDs and sell it for twice as much - I'd buy it.2) It's hard to angle it so the light is coming down directly onto my book. The only way I found to do this was to velcro it to a light stand that I placed next to the couch in my living room. Set up that way, it's functional but not what most people would want in their living rooms.

I ordered it when a hurricane was headed our way. It veered, and I put the lamp away. Yesterday we had an ENTERGY failure during a brief rainstorm. I got out the lamp, but realized I couldn't use it as it needed to be charged! The User Manual is useless. I now have it charged, but could not turn it off. I think it finally shut itself off overnight, and now won't come back on again. Charging it again. I think it will be useless if we have another power failure which is not unusual in New Orleans - even when there's not a hurricane. Also the Aportlo User Manual gives an email address to contact for help. No such address!!! How can people complain about its faults and give it 4 stars???PS After submitting this review I received several messages from Afortlo. After our correspondence and my trying to get the lamp to work properly Afortly suggested a replacement or refund. I gratefully accepted the replacement, and it works perfectly. Thank you, Afortlo!

The lamps were exactly as described with multiple color options and long battery life. But most of all was the fantastic customer support. I ordered two Afortlo LED Wireless Desk Lamps. One did not work. I contacted the seller and received a quick reply from Shelly. After describing the problem Shelly asked for my home address and said she would send a new one immediately. No return paperwork to print and no trip to a shipper. She emailed the order and later a tracking number. What great customer service! Then she emailed to make sure I had received the lamp. I can not thank Shelly and Afortlo enough for making this so easy. From now on, anytime I am looking for something on Amazon, I will look to see if Afortlo is one of the sellers. Bought this to help with jewelry making and the battery life is barely 6 hours if that. Not only that, it is not very bright for the lights that are used. I have a makup mirror that does just about the same thing. I will be returning this.UPDATE:I was refunded for this item quickly and given another to try to see about it when it is plugged in. The light is excellent when it is plugged in and the customer service for this item was also excellent. I needed it for beading while using batteries and I couldn't get the same brightness as when it is plugged in. For reading the batteries would be just fine. Again, the customer service on this item was outstanding, they were very concerned about my concerns and offered other options. If I didn't need the battery stronger I would certainly have been very satisfied with this light.

A really versatile light; I bought this because it can be powered by an external battery power bank during an extended power outage. The 14 inch height makes a good under cabinet light on my kitchen counter - better than replacing batteries in a screw mounted option. In the 180 degree straight up position you get a useful light for checking for drips and missed spots when painting walls. The directions say that plug-in can increase the brightness by 30% (for temporary use.) The light remembers the brightness level for each color but you have to cycle thru to select the color again; it's hard to tell where the medium bright level is, plus all of this involves short and long pressing. I would buy this again if the manufacturer makes a next generation model with a slider added for the brightness adjustment.

I like the lamp. Very helpful for close up work. Customer Service was responsive regarding a question I had. Poor one page (6" x 8") "User Manual" which contains misspelling needs to be updated and written in a more "User Friendly" terminology. Looks like a poor translation from another language. Cost = One star in review.

My husband has been asking for a lamp that can be used on a table in the middle of the room. I kept saying it would have to be plugged in and that was a problem. Then I saw this lamp. PERFECT! No cord necessary. The light is bright enough for the projects he was working on. He didn't need a lot of colors and USB plug ins, so this fit our needs extremely well.
