William Bounds Cinnamon & Chocolate Mill Set

I had called William Bounds customer service to ask about this set. They emphatically suggested that the two refills pictured alongside the mills were not part of the set. I was pleasantly surprised to find that, indeed, they were part of the set that I received. So to recap, I received a Mill filled with Cinnamon and a Mill filled with Chocolate and a separate refill bottle for each! Buy them while the current stock lasts to get those refills.William Bounds has no supplier for the Chocolate refills so William Bounds no longer offers or sells them.I have discovered that the Cacao Nibs (partially crushed actual Cacao beans) as they are commonly referred to might be used in the Mill. Do not confuse these with the prepared Chocolate Nibs or Cacao Nibs or Chocolate Nibs that have been processed into something like chocolate chips - those would gum up the mill.For anyone thinking about buying these Mills (both are identical except for the contents), they do not grind the Cinnamon or Chocolate to a fine powder but rather into a more coarse sort of fine granular texture similar granulated sugar - more or less the same texture of pepper that comes out of the Pepper and Salt Mills when set on fine. If you are expecting or want very finely ground Cinnamon similar to what is commonly sold as "Ground Cinnamon" in the grocery stores, these mills may not be a great choice for you.William Bounds has sold these mills for several decades and stand behind them with a lifetime warranty. When searching through reviews on the web and in conversations with William Bounds, I have repeatedly found references that indicate that these mills are very durable and should continue to function normally for years and years (maybe decades). The grinding elements are made of ceramic which will maintain grinding performance for a very long time. I have owned a William Bounds Salt Mill and a William Bounds Pepper for more than a decade with splendid performance right up to today! Recently I added a William Bounds Nutmeg Mill. All have performed well with great durability and longevity and I expect that the Cinnamon Mill and Chocolate Mill will perform similarly.I suspect anything in sized similarly to the small chips or pieces of Cinnamon or Cacao could be ground in these mills including salt, pepper, allspice, coriander, etc. These mills, after all, are constructed fundamentally the same as the traditional salt and pepper mills.There is simply an indescribable joy when I drink my Cappaccino after adding the superb flavor of freshly ground whole nutmeg and/or freshly ground cinnamon! I am looking forward to trying freshly ground Cacao beans instead of nutmeg and/or cinnamon. A bit of variety is a goodthing!While the set with the included refills lasts, this is really a great deal!

Replaced my old set which is the exact same as this set. The one mill cracked after 15 years of continuous usage but the other is still going strong. I was happy to find the exact set and now I have a back up mill as I am sure one of them will crack again as we use these mills on a daily basis. Like I said...15+ years old.

how else could I have fresh ground cinnamon? The little grinder isWonderful! It is a family favorite on the breakfast table.
