Bear Can't Sleep (The Bear Books)

We love the bear books. Well written with good vocabulary and in a canter and pace that my toddler.follows easily. The pictures are cute and very well done without being distracting. The stories are fabulous.

So now we have ALL the Bear Books!!! My little is 7 yrs old and she STILL loves Bear and friends. She can read them by herself now and we enjoy reading them together at bedtime. I love the lyrical flow of these stories and she loves the colorful pictures and fun stories.

They are very sweet books that teach sharing and caring among the bear and his friends in the forest.

My five year old granddaughter is a fan of these books. The illustrations are lovely and the rhyming text makes these books so fun to read .

Both my sons - 3 and 6 - love the bear books. We have them all. We read this one before bed and if they try to get up make references to how bear got to sleep in the book. My boys love the other animals being friends with all kinds and how everyone is nice to each other - important life lessons. If she writes more books - we will be buying!

The poetry, the art, the fun; I love the “Bear” books so much. Great Americana wilderness, great short stories, and the perfect length for a hasty bedtime book. Bear Can’t Sleep is another great addition to the bear canon.

Another wonderful bear book by Karma Wilson. Our three year old loves this series with its easy rhymes and loveable characters. This book offers a great opportunity to have a science conversation with your little one about hibernation. Buy it, love it, read it again and again.

The Bear and friends series has been an absolute favourite in our home and in the literacy program I work in. Enjoyable for kids and adults. The writing is wonderful and the pictures are beautiful and cute. Will be buying more.

I have purchased many of these Bear books individually and in sets. I started with one and I was so pleasantly surprised at how my 2 1/2 year old grandson loved these stories. He loved the illustrations, the rhyming of the words and vey much the sweet story line of so many things he relates to. Bear Can’t Sleep, Bear Feels Scared, Bears New Friends, Bear Feels Sick and so many more. Bears animal friends are always there for him. Such beautifully written stories that entertain, relate events and reassure kids. A joy to read to kids and watch their enjoyment.

These bear books are wonderful. My one year old loves them, but they're good for all ages. They're well written and very well illustrated. This means you can enjoy reading them to your youngster time and again. We have purchased the entire collection and are eager for the next book. My only complaint (minor) is this isn't the same physical size as the majority of the books, but it's worth purchasing all the same.

We read this book every night, it's a family favourite. Great quality, great story, great drawings..we will be purchasing others from this series.
