Definitely Not Firm
I purchased these to use with oil pastels. They were described as firm. Definitely not - very pliable. They seem pretty well made so I give 2 stars. Unfortunately, the only Extra Firm Color Shapers Amazon carries require extra shipping charge from the UK - not Amazon Prime free shipping.

depends on what you're using them for
i wouldn't use these on clay for anything but smoothing on soft clay. they're wayyy too soft to withstand that much sustained pressure and you're probably gonna end up ruining them sooner than you'd likehowever! if you're looking at these because you want to use them for painting or drawing- they're great! these are the softest color shapers I own, and are super nice for it's price and for how many you get. the rubber feels very smooth and flexible, its quality probably won't make it last as long as those from more expensive brands, so i'd suggest to treat them a little more gentlylooking at the ferrule it does concern me that it will get loose at the handle at some point, it doesn't look like they were crimped tight enough, or maybe at all- but right now they do feel pretty secure.

Great for Clay
I purchased these to use with soft clay while hand building. They are perfect for that. I have learned that the gray rubber tips are the softest and that's what I needed. I have blue tipped and black tipped, both of which are stiffer and good for leather hard, but not soft clay.

Good, for now
They feel cheap, they are cheap. The ferrule's are on wonky and the crimping is non-existent. The handles are glued in, badly. Two ferrules came off immediately - one right out of the package and one as I was looking at them while writing this, but epoxy exists. As long as the tips stay intact, these should be fine.

Amazing tool great price.
These are a fantastic tool if you make anything with clay. They can get into very small spots and smooth and shape exactly how you want. Highly recommend. I think they should come as standard in all beginners kits.

Just as described
These silicone brushes are just what I was looking for. I am using them with epoxy. I have easily used them more than 10 times and they are super easy to clean and are holding up nicely. I highly recommend these brushes.

Cheap
These are cheap, the heads will come off with any pressure, but you get what you pay for.

Useful tools
These are very useful for pottery - trying to finish off a handle or small add-on embellishment they get where my fingers can't get to.
