Helps improve velocity and distance
Our daughter is a pitcher, and this ball has helped her improve her velocity noticeably. This is one of the heaviest weighted softballs you can buy. Quality is fantastic. She uses this for overhand throwing as well. This was an excellent purchase. Have your child throw a few regular softballs for distance, then work on throwing back and forth with this ball for 15 minutes. Have her go back and throw a few more regular softballs. You will be surprised at how much father she will throw.

Excellent for warming up. Perfect weight. Enough to loosen up my arm but not too heavy as some of the other weighted balls are.
