Polisport UFX Free Flow Front Fender CR Red for Honda XR650L 1993-2009

I received mine today and put it on this evening. You’ll need some washers or something to use spacers to give an extra quarter inch so you don’t pinch the wire harness that comes through on top of the fender. Easy to work out though. And worth it. The red matches my 2020 XR650L nicely too. It’s about 2” shorter than the stock fender and it has a nice arrow dynamic design. Also, it allows for more air to cool off my engine, because the underpart part by the engine is vented nicely. Definitely worth the money.

I was looking to save my stock plastics for off road riding and went with this. I'm very happy with the look and how simply the install went. Pretty much plug n play with some spare washers. Gives the bike a more modern look and provides a little extra air flow to the front engine case!

Would have been a 5 star rating if they made it specifically for my bike but the optional mounting brackets are good 👍.

Fits the XR great, I fabbed up fender reinforcement brace because I keep my spare tire kit on the front fender, but it honestly wasnt really needed.

This doesn't even come close to bolting up to my 2012 XR650L. It would need some spacers to make it so that it would allow for the wiring bundle to run where it's supposed to. If there's a way to make this fit, the nearly nonexistent instructions sure don't depict it. It comes with a half sheet of paper with 4 pictures and zero actual instructions. The pictures are useless, IMO.

Installed this item on my 07 XR650L and what a difference in appearance. Everyone thinks i have a new bike now just from a simple plastic replacement on a 10+ year old dual sport bike. You do need to make a slight mod to fit it, but it has worked from me so far.

I had to do some custom fitting to make it work on my 2008 XR650l. The wiring harness had to be redirected (not hard if you have the patience) The added piece to make it custom fit had to be cut & switched around to make it work. After some riding I noticed the 3 bolts that held fender together worked loose (lost one bolt) so had to use Locktite to remedy that. I plan to replace the bolts with rivets soon. It took about 1 1/2 hrs to install it doing the modifications. It is a project but I like the look and thought the price was good. Tools: hacksaw,wire ties,Locktite,drill,rivet gun w/rivets, 6 pack of beer,patience and an area cooler than the 90 deg. garage I did it in:)
