Good "needle" magnets for reed switches of hall-effect sensors. Smaller than picture shows.
These are magnetized along their axis, so can be used to actuate reed switches or for other applications with magnetic field sensors, like hall effect rotation sensors. They appear larger in the picture, they are really 1/8" diameter and 10mm long.

3 x 10 magnets
It is good quality and very strong magnet for the size. However I purchased to use on the magnetic map and these are too strong to put in side by side. It doesn’t work for my purpose so I had to returned it.

These are just the right size to use for long arm needle positioning.

Altho it's not hidden from view (after being asked), it is also not clearly advertised. Since N42 is the NdFeB standard, it could be mentioned directly in the listing. So, heads up, these are probably weaker than you expect.

terrific needle positioners for longarm quilters!!!
i use these for needle positioners on my longarm quilter it makes it so easy to get the needle in the right position!!!i would recommend them for needle positioning, they are very powerful.

Not the correct measurements
These are not in fact 3x10 but 2.9x9.3 we've not only been shorted but they also are not the correct measurement. If you need them to be an exact measurement this is not the place for it

These are great!
I love these sleek little strong magnets. I use them on a large map (magnetic back) above my desk. They don't take up a lot of room which is why I love them so much!

Not nearly as strong as I expected them to be. End to end they're not bad, but side to side which is the use I wanted them for, they are no stronger than a dollar store fridge magnet :( Not sure what I'll use them for now at this point.

Too small to be very useful. Can see most of these ending up in the vacuum cleaner. I am trying to find a type that can be easily removed from the fridge or other surface. As far as their magnetism goes they are o.k.
