what brand are these?

I'm not sure what brand they are but I can tell you this... I've placed 3 orders for these so far because they work better than any other ratchet strap I've ever used.

Which one is better for a pick up truck tie down? Reg or soft tie?

I prefer the soft tie down. And I use it more than half the time. It helps me prevent scratches in certain situations. You can always use it as a regular tie down too of course.
